Do kids ever speak to each other in person anymore? Some people (not just kids) can have whole conversations on text/WhatsApp/messenger with another whilst being in the same room as them

Maybe any conversations between Max & Sonya in person always had those two lads hanging round them all the time so they couldn’t properly talk
