The rule seems to be that if you’re an actor in a soap you can change your appearance (look at the the hollyoaks cast) without consequences to your job, but take her out of the soap and have her looking for work as an actress in something else she’d have problems fitting a character with those horse teeth.

Didn’t he go and visit his daughter at her house? The one who he said “I didn’t hurt that girl” (or words to that effect) to on her doorstep and she didn’t let him in?

If she was the real murderer why did she look so frightened when she saw him and said she never wants to see him again as she would know he was innocent

Unless she was scared he would tell the truth , just a speculation

Maybe the ex wife did it. It's obvious he covered for someone but why, we hopefully will find out soon.

I'm thinking along the same lines, he's defo covering up for someone , that's why he confessed to it, so it must be someone close to him!

Def the daughter. Wasn't the murdered girl a friend of hers or something? An argument that went wrong & daddy covers for her. She doesn't want to see him cos it's a reminder of what happened and she's afraid the truth will come out. 🤷🏼‍♀️
 
Stu was having an affair. Bridget found out, she ended up killing the person he was having the affair with but Stu took the blame to protect her and out of guilt for the affair, daughter feels guilty. That's my thoughts on it.
