Really poor ending for Imran... Killed offscreen after a car crash we didn't even get to see. I mean, we barely even saw him collapse! Wonder who he pissed off at ITV to be written out like that? Reminds me of Joey Tribbiani's Dr Drake Ramoray falling down an elevator shaft because he pissed of the writers

Why oh why do the writers always choose to kill characters off? In real life people move away, disappear, get job opportunities across the country or abroad. It's almost like they are telling the actors, choose to leave? We kill you off. Lame.

I utterly hate Abi, she makes St Becky seem likeable.

I wish they would kill a few more off to be honest, stop some of the more rubbish actors from returning when the work dries up

It annoys me when people move away, having lived there all their lives yet never return to visit, for weddings, funerals, holidays etc. Or are never mentioned again by remaining friends and relatives. It wouldn't kill them to mention them occasionally.

My biggest annoyance is when actors go on maternity leave and their characters are written out to go and look after a previously unheard of sick relative. I know of no one in real life who that has ever happened to! Just send them on holiday and don't give them a storyline for a few months. Some characters are offscreen for months at a time anyway.

Thanks for that - won't have to go through all that crap again. We both thought he said alive when he died (and we are Northerners) and could not stop laughing thinking Craigy had mucked up his lines.
