I thought Sam's speech was very moving. Nick's leather jacket squeaking in the background was annoying 🙄
I have to say I've never been keen on Sam, nothing against the actor at all, just that I felt his dialogue was always very unnatural and too precocious. But tonight, given decent dialogue, he played an absolute blinder and acted everyone else off the screen.

Totally agree about Sam, was never a fan and probably will never be but he was good tonight....mind you there’s not much competition about especially with Nina , her acting is dire !!!

It also felt so stilted due to social distancing, you'd be hugging that little lad as tight as you could after he said his speech.

I don’t think social distancing was an issue as we saw Nick with his arm around Sam and holding his hand in previous scenes all the way up to the point they went into the undertakers. They probably deliberately directed it so that the focus was on Sam during his speech unless all those previous scenes were done when those actors were part of a bubble
