Will Mellor was totally wasted in Corrie. He had the potential to be a long term edgy/bad character but they ruined it.
He was brilliant when he first came in as Harvey and once again Corrie ruined him ( as is their want). Will Mellor is a brilliant actor and they turned him into such a silly character it was embarassing. I do wonder that when he first got the first script he loved the Harvey character and did not know he was going to be turned into the stupid pratt he became.

The week was really bad. I thought it was a bit silly when Leanne was first rescued and being seen by an ambulance that she was just let go off to do whatever again even though they didn’t know if Harvey was dead or not. She should have been kept around police because she would have had to give a statement etc. Then on top of that after Natasha being shot Nick sent her off on her own, again, knowing Harvey was still out there and not knowing what exactly happened between Natasha and Harvey. A lot of very unrealistic and silly stuff in the whole week.

There were so many plot holes to this Horrornation Street it was ridiculous. Tony Warren must be turning in his grave at the destruction of his kitchen sink drama. Who can relate to sink holes, gun deaths, prisoners escaping…. It doesn’t happen on my street. Wasn’t CS supposed to emulate real life.
I've been watching the classic episodes now and then and you just wouldn't believe it was the same show! Imagine all that happening in Jack and Vera's day 😂

All I've seen for years is people saying it's not as good as it used to be and that they prefer the classic episodes. And that goes for pretty much all the soaps! Why do the producers refuse to listen to viewers and then wonder why viewing figures are dropping!?

ITV have completely ruined Coronation Street. I can’t get over how bad this week has been. The special effects were awful, and the sewer looked like it was made of cheap plastic, probably because it was but that just shows how shabby and poor the production values have become if they can’t be bothered to make it look old . The rot started after the 50th anniversary with the tram crash, which was actually very good, but it’s like they’ve felt they have to emulate it ever since with one disaster after another, and they now manage to ruin every half decent storyline they have by turning into a muderous rampage or explosion or whatever. It’s just ridiculous because of all the soaps it was always the one was the closest to real life and was character driven as opposed to storyline driven and they still have some really good actors but they are wasted in this guff.

So why did Harvey hang around once he thought he had killed Leanne? He had a plane waiting. And how did he get in her car?
Who were the men hiding in the alley way when Abbie was looking for her letter in the wheelie bin?
This week has been hilariously bad. I've loved it 😂

Not sure it it's been answered as just catching up but weren't they newsreporters from Wetherfield gazette? Am sure I remember it zooming unto their jacket with WG on?

Don't know why it doesn't make sense but yeah 🤣
