So just to clarify - Toyahs main storyline since she returned six years ago has been how she can’t have kids, has done a million rounds of IVF and has seemingly had infertility for the last 20 or so years. She had sex two weeks ago and is now apparently far enough along that they can do a scan and all.

You’ve got to love soap logic. If suffering from years and years of infertility all you need to do is cheat or have a quickie with your sister/best mate or partners best mate and you’ll be knocked up in no time.
 
What annoys me is, she’s taken to hospital given a bed, straightaway, in a private room
I was sent by ambulance to A & E after passing loads of blood, I was in a cubicle for EIGHT hours till I got a bed! Turned out I had a colon infection and had to have 2 lots of blood transfusions
Why can’t they just make it more realistic?
Plus, wtf did Leanne take to the hospital?
where’s the undies? Toiletries? 🙄🙄🙄

Yea I said this to my husband! She was instantly in a private room, but we all know that in real life she'd have been in the waiting area of A&E for at least 2 days... 🙄
 
The miraculous pregnancies that soaps write after years of infertility, IVF, TTC etc really anger me. It ALWAYS ends with the woman getting miraculously pregnant after a one night stand with the wrong guy. Totally relatable to the thousands of women going through it :rolleyes: I understand it’s not real life, but it’s supposed to emulate it, not take the piss.

Sharon in Eastenders, after being told she could never have children, ended up pregnant with her husband Dennis’s child. Dennis passed away before she had the child but it must be the only time, in those circumstances, the child was not as a result of an affair or a one night stand

It literally only happened though because he was going to die and it would pack an emotional punch.
 
So Nina started work at 8.00am but when Bernie came in at midday she told her that her shift should have finished hours ago

This toyah storyline is making me so mad 😠
They have done the crazy baby snatcher now they have to do the miraculous pregnancy after a one night stand when she's well over 40 after 20 plus years of infertility
They have such a great platform to do a realistic infertility storyline highlighting the reality of couples struggles but they go with this nonsense its an insult to our intelligence

I saw that too, sounds batshit. Why would Kit be helping Joel? Although another theory was that Joel and Kit were actually twins and that Bernie had been so traumatised that she'd forgotten. That truly is even more batshit
