I think she’s offering in under false pretences and is really going to attack him or something….something that will give Kevin another excuse to talk to her in a patronising and condescending way, and for her to be arrested and scupper her chances of a visit with the twins.

I’m currently watching this episode and had the same thought as you, came here to see what happened as I’ve just finished watching emmerdale don’t think I’ve anymore tears left so thank god it’s legit 🤣

She’s only ever been known as Carla Connor or Barlow since she’s been on the show. The producers probably think the viewers wouldn’t be able to cope if she was referred to as Carla Donovan as it’s a name the viewers are not used to hearing

Besides some women like to be referred to their first married name.

Plus Johnny Connor was her dad so it does have more significance than just her old married name.
 
It’s obvious Kevin is going to hook up with Cassie, regret it immediately and then Cassie will dump him for good.

I think they’ll want to put her with a more popular character. Fifteen years ago I’d have said she’d be Steve’s 800th wife he’s such a joke these days I don’t think it’d be him.
 
I don't know why they bother changing surnames when characters get married. It's not necessary really. Especially a professional like Carla.
She's been Carla Donovan, Carla Connor, Carla Gordon, Carla Barlow, Carla Connor, Carla Barlow etc etc ... Can you imagine the aggravation changing all your paperwork like passports, driving licence etc etc :ROFLMAO:

Sarah is going back to being a Platt.
