She never did give birth, nor show signs of pregnancy. Another desperate attempt to salvage the show I think by Kate Brooks. She was producer in Emmerdale when Lydia had the same storyline. It’s a shame because they could’ve done a really good storyline exploring how a childless woman who has yearned for children for years deals with the menopause instead.

Totally agree childless women are always badly portrayed in soaps they did the usual crazy child stealing story with her now this totally unrealistic story
I think the point is meant to be that no one knew so Janice & Leanne wouldn’t have had a clue. However, I agree with others that it’s just an absolutely ridiculous story. She was in the street for quite a while after the attack and showed no signs of pregnancy, surely if she had been pregnant this would have been hinted at to us, the viewers at the time!
Also surely this past trauma would have come out when she was buying Eva’s baby - even as a sort of defence?
