Not in the slightest bit surprised. She gets fed scraps of material whilst Hope hogs the limelight but when she does get something to say it comes out quite stilted

Good luck to the actress in big school but it will be nice if a more ‘capable’ actress takes over the role. It’s a shame they killed off Kirsty/her birth mum. That’s a storyline they could have explored in the future
 
No surprise there re Ruby. She is quite shocking. I think it's been obvious for a long time that she gets so little air time and lines that the producers can't give her anything more. It probably doesn't help her cause that Hope is a brilliant little actress.

Kids quite often need recasting because they just can't cut the mustard. Aadi was a perfect bit of recasting ... Max not so much 🤪
 
That has come from IMDb though and they have the cast of all TV shows listed only up to the present year. If you look at Bill Roache's page it says 1960-2023. But I do agree that Ruby does need to be recast. She'll go off to see Fizz and come back with a new head and probably be ten years older.
