Just listening to Shattered Lives: latest episode (recap of today)

Remy you’re brave questioning and implying Nikita is an alcoholic (lies and not true at all - confirmed by her doctor who shut it down immediately 👋) - going to be awkward when Conor’s drug and drunk problem is questioned 😬

On day 1/2 of the trial it came up that Conor went nuts because Danielle mocked him for boasting about his watch. This was in the car when the girls thought they were headed to an after party. They had to pull over to calm him down. Said his demeanour changed in a flash. I’m sure Dee knows exactly what happens if she isn’t praising him constantly.
 
Parking myself here - I used to watch and comment on this rapists thread a lot but for reasons I stepped back.
However seeing Nikita’s bravery - wow.
I can’t find it now but someone put a disparaging comment on his insta and the vitriol and threats were off the chart.
I just can’t imagine what Nikita must have faced for this.
I hope she gets justice, I hope the flood gates open, I hope he gets what he deserves 🙏
I hope the people who say a woman is lying about the most abhorrent things that can happen to a person never ever have to face this with a loved one.
I really do feel hope that this is the beginning of a horrible, downward to the very bottom spiral for the rapist bleep.

Im following it on crimeworld pod but I don’t think Conor’s drink and drug habits can really be called into it because he’s not the one seeking damages. Like they can’t go diving into his medical background as far as I’m aware maybe I’m wrong. I’m curious to know if Danielle is gonna be witness for Conor cos she isn’t one for Nikita and they aren’t friends anymore 🤷🏻‍♀️

Probably was supposed to be somewhere to get away to during all of this and go on the bag etc. Dee an the kids probably up there during the trial.

But it's pretty pointless now that the place is exposed.

According to crimeworld there was to be 3 guards on the stand today. The first one was up and asked about his qualifications and then jury was asked to leave then when they came back they said matters had been dealt with court was finished for the day and the gardai will not be giving evidence now. The last two witnesses for Nikita is a forensic expert and a damages expert who tells the jury how much they think she should get in compo money

I find this so hard to understand 🤢 like I hope he can be pulled apart.

Would the DPP have gotten all the evidence from today when making her decision NOT to prosecute?
I’m still struggling with that…
