He looked fuming leaving the court. I do think it should be said on the news that she tried to go down the criminal route first
Might shut some of the victim blaming on here too. Un bleeping believable. If I had to have a tampon surgically removed and was forced to leave the area never mind the damage to her family you better believe I'd want compensation. Should the magdalene laundry victims not have taken the money either? Or is it different because they weren't drunk?

I’m sick of victim blaming in ANY of these situations.
How about men take accountability that they can’t keep their urges under control.
 
Everyone saying she’s just after money, think about 6 years of your life put on hold, a knot in your stomach waiting on this shitshow to happen. Every day you’d be asking if it’s the right thing to do. She had no choice as DPP thought there was no case (maybe they saw cocaine fueled party & didn’t want to touch it, who the f**k knows)
She was offered substantial money but wanted a public civil trial, fair play to her 👍

As we have repeatedly pointed out, a Civil Case cannot result in a prison sentence. Criminal prosecution is only in the gift of the Director of Public Prosecutions, and never the alleged victim. The DPP chose not to proceed in this case

I could well believe Tubs was mad for the coke like half of RTE was, but him actually choosing to hang out with McGregor? Mind you if he was enough off his tits, maybe he'd hang out with anyone. The two just don't seem like they'd have anything in common at all. I'd imagine even without the assault scandals, Tubs would think McGregor far too common for him.
 
Sorry if it it’s covered but why does the victim in both RTE and Mirror have 2 different surnames?

I hope she gets justice and this is the beginning of the end of him.

If it was just for cash she'd have settled and not put a target on her back instead she is incredibly brave, she's put a target on her back but she's letting the world know what an evil disgusting man this is and it will always be out there for the world to see.
