You’re probably confusing it with when he faked his death but we saw he was alive in the Spain episodes with Peggy when she went there to attend his ‘funeral’. She saw him in disguise selling dodgy timeshares. It was also where we first saw Kim Medcalf as Sam.

Frank doesn’t die in Eastenders until 2008. The iPlayer episodes from 2008 start with his funeral in the April
