Clarksons Farm - Amazon

Is there going to be another series or is this the last?

I want to see them finish the dam, see the goats come back and eat all the tough stuff / try to escape some more, laugh at Lisa trying to sell new things too cheap, and learn more about the musician bloke and his combination farming techniques. Also always got time for Clarkson failing to sow the field properly and seeing the results months later on! And more cute piggies of course.

A lot more of this series was obviously staged (or enhanced/amplified for the cameras) although some parts like the births (and deaths) of the cute piggies, Clarkson nearly vomiting when he took the mouldy tube off the mushroom fan etc, all seemed highly genuine.

Anyone bought any of the farm stuff from the Amazon Fresh high street shops? All seemed hideously overpriced when I saw it. Unsurprising I suppose.

Saw the other day that they are filming season 4! Absolutely love it. It’s such a good show, a great mix of comedy and actual farming issues.

There are some scenes that are straight from Top Gear tbh. Jeremy using a Henry to pick berries and Kaleb on the hovercraft but there's enough genuine drama and cuteness to make it very real. I'm sure Jeremy didn't suggest that a goat munch his gonads or a pig be sick in his pocket for laughs. :ROFLMAO:

Whatever you want to say about it and Jeremy Clarkson, there's no doubt it's made the general public far more aware of some of the issues and red tape farmer are facing than Countryfile has managed in however many years that has been on air.

Binge watched this over the weekend, and I am looking forward to season 4.

Tried to get my mum and her Mrs on board, but they can't stand Jeremy, got left on read when I tried to appeal to their animal loving side by telling them how he has been in tears several times over the animals.

The two things I'm most impressed by, like many people who have either witnessed or have first hand experience of farming, are the real life every day issues experienced by farmers. Obviously, as with any reality tv show, there will be some dialogue/edits purely for TV, but the vast majority of every single episode is exactly what every single farmer in the country is dealing with every day 365 days a year.

The other thing I'm impressed with is the fact he doesn't shy away from the ultimate fate of livestock. Yes, it can make for difficult watching, but I do believe it's important that any kind of farmer is up front about the lives their animals live - and that includes the end of that life.

Also have to praise Kaleb. What a smart dedicated young man he is, and on Jeremy's part, many men his age would find it difficult being told how its done by someone so young. I love that he makes it obvious he knows kaleb is the knowledgeable one there..

Bring on season 4.

I think this is just a car lover thing. It seeps into alsorts. I am obsessed with Audis and will bring them into ANYTHING. Especially my fellas Audi RS7 Which we had remapped and has 700BHP and easily does over 200mph.

My friends constantly take the piss out of how much I talk about this car 😂😂😂😂

We're halfway through season 2. Only heard about it last week. Loving it so far. I wasn't fussed about Jeremy either way but I've really warmed to him now. Love Gerald. He makes us laugh and Kaleb is amazing. My 12 year old loves it too. Not often there's a programme we can all enjoy as a family.

We live an hour and a half away from Diddly squat and guess where we are going on Saturday? Wish us luck. Have heard it can be a couple of hours to get in 🫣

On his insta today :ROFLMAO:

I plan on going at the mid/end of June.
Do you think it is best to turn up at 9am opening time? Although comunater traffic??
We got there at 9.10am.and the queue was already an hour and a half long. The earlier you can get there, the better. Massive queues getting in and they shut the car park off by the time we left at around 12. This was last Saturday. Curious to know how it's going to be next Wednesday.

Has anyone else been on any of the facebook groups about the farm? How thick are some people? I keep seeing people going on about the farm profits, as if Jeremy is pretending *he* only made £140 odd quid profit.

It really irritates me that they think they're seeing something the rest of us aren't by pointing out that he will be being paid a lot from Amazon, and has other high earning sources of income to fall back on.

How can people miss the point so spectacularly? Even if you never watched any of it, and just watched the bit where they talk about the farm profits at the end of the season, its very obvious that he is quoting those figures to highlight the financial position of every other farmer who isn't a famous presenter with lucrative TV deals 😂😂 MORONS.

Yes he's a millionaire but he's not using any of his other money to fund the farm.
