Christmas present moans #2 It's Xmas time & here's my present list, buy me what I want or you’ll meet my fist!

I’m feeling bad, I got a wireless controller for my Nintendo Switch but I don’t like it. I was going to buy myself the official Nintendo one anyway, but was told not to because I’d been bought one as a gift. This isn’t an official one and the buttons aren’t great. Now I want to go on Amazon and buy myself the official one but I feel guilty and ungrateful. 😩

I really hate when this happens!

I wanted a diffuser a few years ago… thinking Neom, was told not to buy it, it would be bought for me. Well, my disappointment at opening a wowcher special!

Nah, just tell the person the buttons aren’t working properly. If you are lucky they might still have the receipt and can return it

Is there a dog we can blame for it going missing?
 
Went to use a facemask from the set I received for Xmas 2023 and realised it ran out of date in FEBRUARY 2022! The gifter obvs had this sitting in the back on their cupboard for years and thought this will do when choosing my Xmas present 🤣. Had to laugh and knew I could come here to rant lol

I use any wrapping paper I have on hand to wrap my gifts, because I don't believe in buying new every single time. This means A LOT of people get birthday gifts wrapped in Christmas wrapping :ROFLMAO:. Imagine the horror of getting a bday gift in July, fully decked out in obvious Christmas wrapping. Not sure if the person gifting you is of the same mentality or if you really did get a unwanted gift. I hope you ask them though because surely Im not the only one?

I do this. We wrapped our kids presents and the pass the parcel in Christmas wrap because it's all we had

Saw the first Christmas advert on the telly yesterday. :rolleyes: ... A day or two before that we had a heatwave. 😁

Seriously, supermarkets, et al. Stop it ffs!
