I'm not gatekeeping, lol. I've just not ever seen anyone who is autistic act like her before. And prehaps my post was unintentionally ignorant but she has made "I'm autistic and so are my kids" her entire personality and it's just all rather ???

Sorry if I offended, I'm tired of celebs monopolising stuff like this.

I do think that the criteria for a diagnosis has broadened extensively and traits are now far more significant especially re private assessments.

Both my 2-in their thirties- were diagnosed by a consultant specialising in autism but in no way function like Christine or have had relationships etc. Severe anxiety/OCD/social terror are more the level I am used to seeing.

"Achievements and success" for my 2 may be on a different level and not seem "much" to a functioning autistic but they are still achievements and successes.

I don't like Christine's behaviours regardless of whether she is autistic or not and I don't think "masking" or her diagnosis should be used to promote her online presence or to "champion" autism. It's a joke.

I also don't think she's autistic same with her pretending to be a lesbian I think she's just an attention seeker. It's funny how she only found out after or during her spilt with paddy. She'd be nothing without him if she was to change her marriage name nobody would have a clue who she is
