Chontel Duncan

Wow what a deal, for $59.95 you can advertise a wealthy influencers business for them by buying an overpriced t-shirt from their family member. Meanwhile Chontel’s stumped up for some A4 sheets of paper and an old newspaper 🤦🏻‍♀️

Neuform sounds like a construction/building supply company. Just googled the name and there is a company that sells decorative laminate 🤷‍♀️

Interesting that she’s going for an adhd assessment, I picked her for having it awhile ago after the eldest was diagnosed. Sam looks like he picks up a lot of her slack when she can’t function, also eating the same meals, hyper focused on things.

(I have adhd so I mean no malice)

The Insta message reply to her is so fucked. It’s exactly the stigma women receive surrounding ADHD. So what she unpacks, I do too. I have OCD (at times severe) and I instantly unpack because I emotionally can’t cope with clutter/chaos.
I better tell my psychiatrist my ADHD diagnosis is wrong too 😂

I agree though, she exhibits multiple atypical female ADHD traits.

I have ADHD and I unpack as soon as I get home too. It's more of an obsessive fixation for me, trying desperately to look like I have my tit together. I also cannot handle clutter, it makes me anxious at a level not inappropriate to the situation.

Far out I wish these uneducated people would stop sharing information as fact when they don't know enough about what they're talking about.

I’m neither ADHD or OCD; but I unpack and start doing washing pretty much as soon as we walk in the door on arriving home from any holiday (after cuddling my dogs for the ten minutes prior to them remembering we left them for a period of time).

I’m not sure why it’s seen as an abnormal behaviour 🤷‍♀️ … but equally, it’s not something that I think is a flex.

I think it's more the comment she shared about people with ADHD don't unpack as soon as they get in so therefore chontel can't have ADHD.

It's reinforcing outdated stereotypes when the science is clear that there isn't a one size fits all when it comes to ADHD. Resharing without thinking isn't helpful to anyone, and could even prevent someone seeking their own diagnosis.

Exactly!
To clarify, I also wasn’t saying it was either. Just that ND is too complex for non professionals to label behaviours as normal or ND.
