I'm meant to be trying to cut down on caffeine but I only slept from 4-7:15 so... I'm on as much caffeine and sugar as I need to get through work.
I want to swap houses with those of you who are cold - it was roasting here last night.
On the plus side I've found a project to transcribe old US yearbooks - I can't judge him because it was in 1959... but this guy did make me laugh with his leavers' quote

So when we were together, my ex had quite a big group of friends, all men in their 30s, and other than him and one other guy, they were ALL in really tit relationships where there was lots of lying/gaslighting/cheating (on their side) or they had recently broken up with someone because they’d been cheating or generally had been a dick. I even remember talking to my ex and commenting on how odd it was that all his friends were really bad at relationships (which sounds really bitchy but he had been the one to tell me about the cheating etc and how terrible it was that they treated their wives & girlfriends)
The one other guy who was in a decent relationship was meant to be getting married this year, after being pushed back from last year because of covid. My ex had invited me to the wedding as his plus one but then we broke up last year when he cheated on me and that was the end of that.
Anyway, I don’t look at his social media anymore because it was emotionally destroying me but I did want to see the wedding photos from the wedding I was nearly at, so I looked up the bride/groom on Facebook to find out that the wedding was cancelled a few months ago because ... the groom had been cheating on the bride
I don’t really know where I’m going with this but I feel vindicated, like I knew him and his friends were terrible people and this just reconfirmed that that whole friendship group is toxic, men suck and red flag after red flag is trouble, no matter how much you dress it up as colourful bunting.

Oh god it sounds like you're better off away from him and his friends then! Look on the bright side -Thank god you didn't waste money on a lovely outfit for that wedding
@BelleAmie Sounds like you're better off out of the relationship and friendship group. The whole thing is so toxic. Annoying you can't tell your friends.
I know we are meant to move on with a clean break with both relationships and friendships, but stalking is so easy to do. I still stalk some people (would never admit it to anyone). It honestly isn't coming from a jealous place. I'm just genuinely nosey about their lives!

he sent me a screenshot from it once which would have been funny if he hadn’t included part of a message that was talking about me ... I assume he is doing much worse in life and you feel better when you look at what he’s up to?

I do believe in Karma yes, like Wilma said it may not happen straight away, maybe even years later but they get their just deserts eventually.
Realise I'm probably the only one on this thread, but hating the hot weather today
yesterday was perfecto 
dark, dull, raining, like a perfect winter's day. Back to being irritatingly hot and sticky. Fan on and windows open.

I stalk the current girlfriend of an ex from when I was really young; I have no interest in what he’s doing anymore but she seems really lovely and I’m fully invested in her life now. She’s recently been promoted, she has lots of friends and I wish her all the best ❤
Hahaha, I have random people like that who I stalk and have ended up fully invested in their lives. I think my worst one is two sisters (who have both got married and had babies) of a guy I went on one date with years ago. They seem lovely and I feel happy when I see their posts. Crazy I know.
