Omg I had a lemon drizzle muffin earlier. It was so tasty, and I made it in my air fryer ( sorry soy). Was it nice @strawb ? 💖

I’m okay today, Sophia was being an absolute menace yesterday, tantrums all day, I had to go to get stuff from Asda and she had the biggest meltdown ever because I wouldn’t let her run around, on the way back in the car she cried the entire time and when we got home she wanted to be held constantly and I couldn’t do anything, when I needed to pee I had to bring her in with me because she cried if I put her down, and the night before she insisted on sleeping in my bed so I didn’t get much sleep because she was waking up every 30 minutes and kicking me. As soon as my bf got home yesterday evening I had an hour long shower and cried the entire time. But I’m okay today, so is Sophia. Toddlers are crazy , it was the first tantrum she ever had outside and I felt so paranoid and like a rubbish mum because she was making such a scene 😭

seems like you did everything the best you could @Gidget00_ 💛, as for the air fryer lemon drizzle muffin… I have no words 😶

I’m having a boring day, just rectifying invoices and declaring taxes. I got some pics back of a film I developed though and they’re soooo good - much better than last time! Wish I could show you them!

Toddlers really do be like that sometimes 😭 Mini has been an absolute nightmare the past few days and I have no idea why. I’ve had a horrendous day. I’m counting down the minutes til my fella gets home so I can go to bed and not have to deal with Mini for the rest of the day 😂

Yeah I feel better thank you! Mini fell asleep after his naughty outburst and when he woke up he was super cuddly, then my bf came home and had a word and was all ‘we don’t be nasty to Mummy Mummys going through a lot’ and Mini gave me a hug and said sorry and he’s been good as gold since then 😅 I’m just worried now about his bedtime cos he didn’t wake up til like 4pm 🤣 he’ll be awake all night 😅

So you’re supposed to fill it with the amount of water you need then add the powder and mix but then you have to clean it and sterilise it each time so I do the hot shot method I’ll add a tiktok
So I measure out the hot water into the bottle (7oz) I leave 2oz in the bottle to mix the formula with then pour the rest into the rapid cool I wait 2 mins and I know it’s cool enough instead of using the light on the top then just pour that back into the bottle!

@Gidget00_ Toddlers are a law unto themselves. From boom to bust in the blink of an eye. Middle Jelly was a ferocious toddler and I often contemplated selling him. But like you and Sophia, we survived the days and honestly years later you will remember this phase. But it will just be that. An ugh tantrum phase and Sophia will be this older girl with all sorts of interests and hobbies and while these days suck right now. They are short lived. And then you'll have this wonderful little girl to dote on.

You will survive. I promise. 💖

I'm doing OK, all things considered. The Junior Jellies are so grown up now. Oldest Jelly is 13. Middle is 12 and Littlest is 11. I still have bonkers stories about them but they are less about taking baby birds into school and more about illicit nail polish.

I'm still here reading, just with you all having such little ones I don't want to be that old fuddy duddy aunt posting and giving unwanted advice left, right and centre just because I have been through it all and am out the other side.

But take it from me. The days are long, and the years are short. I have blinked and my babies are grown, literally in the blink of an eye. Then the tantrums seem funny, especially when you tell the ones that have really stuck in your head back to your children.

Middle Jelly staged the mother of all tantrums on a road called Orchard in Singapore (think Oxford Street, but a bit fancier) because I couldn't get a Divali decoration down from a lamppost. He dropped to the floor, rolled around, kicked, screamed, the whole shebang. I had toddler Oldest Jelly with me, wanting to run one way, Littlest Jelly crying because she wanted boob and just felt like walking away and leaving him. That one has really stuck in my mind for obvious reasons but now when I tell them they laugh about it.
 
Luckily Mini was asleep by 9pm so I fell asleep too! I’ve had such a rubbish nights sleep my bump has been so painful and I must have gone the toilet about 7 times, I was tossing and turning but it hurts to roll over!! I’m 32 weeks today and I’m feeling so blah!! I’m so uncomfortable I’ve just gave up trying to sleep lol

I know eek I’m scared 😬 and I’m also convinced it’s a boy because I’ve read a few stories about people having multiple scans that said girl and it came out a boy 😂

I’m ok! So tired, taking Mini to the barbers soon, Mr is off today so we’re taking Mini to this newish soft play, we’ve been before and they do a proper nice vegetarian breakfast and I’ve been craving it since, it’s the only reason I’m going tbh 😂
 
I’ve got Harry with me today in work, check out his new play area😆
