Chessie King #3 Coz she’s an attention seeking …

Not standing up for chessie at all (I mean wtf is the naked photo of you and your husband even for????) but can’t body positivity include being proud of your body after losing weight? I agree, she should be more transparent about it, but I don’t think there’s much wrong overall with showing off your figure.

This is what I’m saying, surely body positivity is meant to be for all body shapes/sizes? I actually think she looks far healthier and happier (I know it’s taboo to congratulate someone on losing weight these days which is ridiculous) - I’d just prefer her to be transparent about it and say “Yes I’m exercising more, I’ve lost weight and I feel happy and proud”
The stupid thing is that it really does feel like the body positive movement is only about being happy being slightly larger - and this alienates those people who are slimmer (be it naturally or due to conscious diet and exercise). Like some people have said I suppose if she comes out and says she’s happy to have lost weight she will alienate her larger followers. Case in point I’ve spent ages wondering how to word this because people will probably have a go at me for suggesting that she might be happier and healthier having lost weight.

I’m with you! I lost 4 stone over the past year and I’m far happier, more confident, and proud of myself. I think it should be about being happy and proud of your body at any size and the size that makes you feel good.

I think what upsets and alienates people is the disingenuous behaviour of these influencers. Chessie was never fat but jumped on the body positivity movement and milked it for all it was worth - we all remember the rolls of fat photos which to most were clearly staged with the best angles etc for full effect.
I don't doubt for a minute that she feels better, more confident and has more energy now that she has lost weight but she won't say that because she's keeping her earning possibilities open.
Finally, whilst she's been running a lot I also wouldn't put it past her to be on an unhealthy diet to get there or even have done it with the aid of injections or such.
Sadly I cannot trust anything she says because she is proven to have a fragile relationship with the truth.

Omg Chessie we get it! You had a baby and then lost weight good for you and well done! Why do you need to post about it everyyyy day?!
