I don’t know what she expected with such major surgery. It will be horrific pain that will be difficult to manage. A lot of people struggle even more after their stoma is reversed.

Yup, all totally self inflicted, years of opiate abuse. Begged for that ileostomy then setting up a gfm for a private reversal. Cannae move a muscle but can hold up a phone to film herself in the ICU.

I have so much sympathy for addicts. Why would anyone choose that without some sort of trigger?

It’s the constant attention seeking online from ICU. People are in there in horrific situations and she’s filming for tik tok. It must be single bedded rooms or the nurses would have put a stop to it

I wonder if she’s on fentanyl because she’s on buvidal and can’t have opiate pain
 
The thought crossed my mind too. Fentanyl can kill if it's given in too high a dose. There was a Nurse at the QE who gave that in a shot instead of anti biotic and killed a poor soul. I'm not sure if they'd give it when she can just tap tap tap and potentially OD. Maybe one of our resident Nurses can clear up. My Mums was through a syringe driver very slowly.

I had a morphine drip in years ago and just had to press it every so often but would only actually give you the dose when you were due it if that makes sense so there was no chance of having an OD xx
