I imagine she claims universal credit which they will just stop if proven she earns enough.

Her income fluctuates but she still gets atleast £5k a week which would disqualify her from even housing benefit. PIP is the only thing she can maintain

It's not an income from working tho she's not actually working its gift money. It works differently. It would be different if she was an actual influencer doing collabs etc but she's not. The DWP have bigger fish to fry.

I obviously think it's wrong as well but there's nothing that can be done and if the DWP are going to do anything talking about it over and over again isn't gonna do anything lol.

It's not gifted money. She is a content creator - it's an income. It's fraud if she is claiming Universal Credit.

At the end of the day if she is being fraudulent and not declaring things properly they will stop her UC but the max UC anyway is only 380 a month or something not much. Her housing benefit will go directly to the housing office and she will still be on full pip for the rest of her life regardless of other benefits or fraud so people need to give that chat a rest IMO I'm sure she's been reported loads.

She would be entitled to single person element, housing element and either LCW or LCWRA - significantly more than £380.

PIP isn't awarded for 'rest of life' for purely MH issues. It's issued on a 3 year review. Only very life limiting issues are now awarded for life and it's been that way since PIP started. I work in the MH sector and support service users with this day to day.

Right but the housing stuff goes directly to the housing it's not like that's money in her pocket to burn. She is never not going to get PIP at her reviews her MH affects her day to day life significantly and we can all see she could never be stable enough to hold down a job. All I'm saying is there's no point in going on about the DWP over and over again cuz if they stop her money it's not like we're ever gonna know so what's the point in it being brought up over and over again.

When benefits changed from legacy system to UC it was changed so that HB element was paid to the claimant unless otherwise specified, usually at the claimants request. She very well could be receiving it, there would be no way to know for sure.
And it gets brought up because it frustrates the everloving tit out people that she more than likely could be playing the system..?

highly unlikely she could be trusted with it, she would be in massive amounts of rent arrears and again this conversation is pointless because like you said we will never know the true extent of her relationship with the DWP it's not like your taxes go directly to her so again it's just pointless chat. People who abuse the benefit system suck but they're everywhere on TikTok.

I absolutely agree about going on and on about it and I do also see why others get upset about it. At the end of the day on the money she is putting in her account should be paying her rent not claiming. She is a bit silly anyway as she's registered a business against her name so at the end of the day that'll set wheels in motion from HMRC in the future 🤣

Let's get back to the hair ...

Aye I agree. I'm sure if she's registered a business they will be messaging her about a tax return soon enough and we all know the tax man doesn't duck about so that will probably be her undoing 🤣
