The grass 🙈. Just go and buy some new turf, you fannies🙈.

Another chilled out day (strapped to devices). Day out tomorrow - so either someone else is paying or it’s off to see Mark’s mum for a free lunch. Will we get the obligatory quiche and coleslaw photo to prove it happened?
Scarifying is a good idea as new turf won’t fix the underlying problem. She’s a bit late in doing it though. I would have a couple of weeks ago.

Can’t believe she’s already made and packed their picnic for tomorrow. I’d have everything ready to go on specific shelves so I didn’t miss anything, and would make sarnies in the morning (although saying that I’ve just realised we don’t tend to have sandwiches on picnics 🤔)
---
Who the hell makes a picnic up the day before it's needed AND puts it in a cool bag. Surely you'd keep it all in the fridge until you were ready to leave. Hello food poisoning!!!!
Totally defeats the point of both the cooler and of putting it in the fridge. Fridge can’t keep it cool if it’s in an insulated bag, the ywats.

Bet you she clarifies that the bag is open or something in 3…2…1…..

The problem with the grass is the dog pissing and shitting all over it because it’s only taken out for a 10 minute drag once a day. No amount of scarifying it and chucking down grass seed all summer long - when we move onto “gardening” content is going to fix that

Agree re the picnic. Who wants to eat 24 hour old sandwiches. Yuck

What do you normally have?

Her grass isn't going to last when she keeps letting the dog piss and crap on it all the time
Instead of sandwiches? A vat of hummus and things to dip in it (no double dipping, mind). The cheese eaters have much of that.
The not having sandwiches wasn’t a picnic dig. I just suddenly realised we don’t have them (kids have enough of them for packed lunches, I think) so my point is minorly moot.

Yeah, that’s fair enough. I wouldn’t like to walk on that lawn barefoot 🤢

You just know we'll seen those kids running bare foot on the lawn like last year and all I could think about was them standing in patches of piss and tit 🤢

Let’s have some guesses….driving for 3 hours to go to a smyths workshop and drive back (I think she’s already done that one though - can’t possibly ask her back!)….. something that needs a picnic….you’d think outdoor but they’re super tight about buying food out. Could be a theme park? Or an early egg hunt?
Or maybe they’re going to a huge hill to roll their eggs this year?!

The tight-arsed Taylor's NEVER go anywhere with their kids unless it's free or she's getting paid to do so. It'll be for an ad, 'cos let's face it noone is up for having a picnic in March!!!

“There’s a slight acidity that reminds me of citrus fruits”

Errrr, that’s how “normal” wine works Charl. If I smell/taste gooseberry it doesn’t mean it’s bloody in there. You saying a “wine” with actual orange in it tastes “citrusy” isn’t exactly a crazy concept. I’d like to know what masters of wine think, thanks.

Who buys two bottles of something they’ve never tried before?

Someone who spends money on booze for her and Shark whilst the kids go without

Tomorrow is definitely a gifted experience. There’s no way they would pack a picnic and go out somewhere otherwise.

Agree with the comments about packing the picnic the night before. She’s up at the crack of dawn, plenty of time to make the picnic fresh.

Yeah they could be going to Preston to partake in the egg rolling haha.

Ok, I’m a dumb. She’s going on about “it doesn’t taste like orange liqueur - we’re “not getting a grand marnier” (duck knows the spelling).

A (very) quick google tells me orange wine is a white wine which is made the same way as red wine, but they remove the skins much longer, so it’s likely very full bodied. Whereas rose is much fresher.
THIS is the explanation I want. Not to be under the impression that it’s a weird Frankenstein hybrid of wine and other fruit alcohol 😅
(Yes I might live under a rock)
