I’ve never touched ketamine anyway, but I have to say I don’t think it’s a well known fact. Perhaps if people knew they may think a little more carefully!
 
I think Gary is, above all else, incredibly concerned about appearance.

I feel like he only really let himself go and admit he was in love wihh Charlotte when she was looking at her peak. When she first lost all the weight, had minimal fillers, and still had her spark.

I think these days he probably feels like he had a lucky escape. I think they clicked incredibly well on an emotional level, but I just don't see him ever willingly being seen in public with her, or declaring his love for her, when she looks how she does these days sadly. Lillie lexie doo dah, and now Emma... Both dull as dishwater, but naturally very pretty girls. And seems like he's happy to commit to them.

Well there’s that and there’s the clear fact that she’s violent and accusational when drunk/on a high. Not many men would put up with even the most beautiful woman in the world if every day she got so pissed she was taking swings at them.

Or so pissed that she is either sick on herself or wets herself most nights !

She’s not 19 anymore she def needs to grow up.

Who is the new bf anyway? He looks like he loves a party -just his whole look, the tattoos etc so god knows what kind of influence he is gonna have!
 
Yeah the new boyfriend doesn't strike me as a long term prospect. Just another interchangeable boy to have around!

I agree r.e. Gary....I think he liked her a lot but couldn't admit to himself deep down when she was normal looking, then when she had her first bit of work down and got really glammed up be probably thought he could do it....

I think it’s unfair to just put it the blame at charlottes door there. He 100% emotionally abused her.

Good point. But if she hadn’t been such a violent alcoholic would it have happened? Partners of a drinker often desperately try any tactic to try and control them, and from what we’ve seen he seems to be a pretty decent partner to the woman he has kids with (although you never know)
I just dislike Crosby because she’s spent 4 1/2 years out of the last 8 on bans for drink driving yet sees it as reasonable to be driving round an overpowered three ton death machine these days. One day she will kill someone and it will happen because she wants to be a flashy witch.

No I don't think you can blame her for his treatment of her. If anything, I think he probably fuelled her violent jealousy - sleeping with her and stringing her along but then going out and hooking up with other girls right in front of her, over and over again. And I don't think Charlotte was any more an alcoholic (at least in those days) than any of them - they were all drinking heavily and partying every night.

Not saying her reactions or behaviour are by any means appropriate or acceptable, but Gary was an utter twit to her all of his own making - including the way he treated her when she had the ectopic pregnancy. It was toxic on both sides, but he was the one pulling the strings, she was completely in his thrall and he absolutely took advantage of that.

He does appear to be a reasonable partner to Emma now, but by all accounts he carried on much the same until she actually became pregnant (accidentally) and then he completely changed his ways and settled down.

The whole situation is crap and unenviable isn’t it.
Too much booze and drugs and a complete focus on things that don’t matter in life, and then we don’t know what’s true and what is put out there for show and publicity.
I’d hate to be them. The money can’t be worth it.

Oh she’s a terrible role model and general car crash of a human. (Absolutely no pun intended)
But yeah Gary’s behaviour was awful. He’d say things to reel her in again too. Rewatching Geordie shore now I’m older has really highlighted how toxic the people are. Gary and Vicky being the worst.
 
I can't believe some of them are still stuck in that way of life. Geordie shore was on when I was at uni, so I related a lot to the drinking, out every night etc. But by the end of third year I was so so over it, and couldn't wait to grow up a bit, and work hard, and save the odd mad night out for once a month or so. Don't get me wrong some people still went out more frequently, but now at 29 most people are settled, and happy with with their quiet lives and focusing on their careers. It's like these lot got stuck at 19.

Good on Holly, Gary, Aaron, Marnie, even vicky to a degree for managing to grow up...

I worry about Charlotte, and chloe ferry. They will look just as tragic as Katie price soon, say another 5 years.

The problem is that by 29 most ‘normal people’ have an actual career to focus on but these people don’t have that. This way of life is all that they know and it’s sad. Especially Chloe Ferry who was ridiculously young in both age and attitude when she started on Geordie Shore. Holly was young too but seemed much older.

I watched all the old GS eps when they were on and honestly couldn’t gauge whether he actually loved her or carried it all on for the story line.
They went through a lot together so surely he must look at her now and wonder what if?

His current GF or fiancé (whatever it is) looks like an absolute snooze fest in comparison

I agree I could never decide if he really loved her or not but I think he did he just couldn’t admit it and it was at the wrong time. They way he looked at her on the show was the look of love although not saying he treated her right
With Emma I think it’s easier for him she’s hassle free and they have kids but not sure he would be with her without the kids as harsh as that sounds
I’m not sure he looks at Charlotte now and thinks I wish I was with her although he never seemed put of before by her bed wetting or being a mess. Even when she went ‘psycho’ Charlotte he would still go back to her the night or same night. But I think your right he probably was in love with her and couldn’t admit it and now wonders what it would be like
I saw a clip where he was watching old clips with holly I think for Georgie OGs and Charlotte comes up in a clip and he can’t even look at it he just clams up. Surely if you were over someone and pretty much married it wouldn’t bother you that much, I’ll try and find it

found it skip to 5 minutes in when the picture or Charlotte comes up so awkward 😂🙈
