I was so emosh when they had the mass catering! They did great! the reds veggie option was a bit poor but overall all the dishes looked great! No great surprise at the result tonight with pink chicken😔 … the lemon sponge with the curd, oh my… Love all things lemony!! Cliff was outstanding I thought!

Kitty is hilarious, her teasing John and him giggling and hiding was delightful. She may not be the best cook, but she adds a bit of fun and levity to the whole affair, and you do need that in these competitions, or else it's just a dozen minor celebrities stressing over C-grade food.
 
I LOVE Kitty 😻 She was so good on Drag Race and has totally lightened up what could be a fairly mediocre personality line up otherwise!

I liked Lesley's ability to give it a bash but this wasn't her finest hour.
Cliff is fab, hearty food and not up himself
Mel is great too but I wish she'd pin that fringe up, would drive me nuts trying to cook with that flapping about my face
Faye is dull, dull, dull....with a face that is simultaneously blown up but doesn't move.
I like Lisa but again she's just a bit dull
I'm distracted by Danny's teeth and he only seems to be able to make Thai green curry!
Jimmy is OK but not wowed by him or his food

Kitty going round the air ambulance place criticising the other team's food was 😂
'Oh dear looks like there are lots of bones'. Wonderful. She obviously takes it all with a massive pinch of salt (pardon the pun).
Faye seems to have made her entire personality being self deprecating about Botox. And having 'a massive sweet tooth'.
Lisa irritates me a bit - always performing. But her food is good.
McFly is a one trick pony. And needs to stop laughing at things he has just said all the time - but at least he isn't Swash.
Mel seems lovely and a good cook.
I like Minty and his food. Another laid back character.
I really don't like Jimmy Bullard, but can't pinpoint why tbh.

There's something about his hair which puts me right off him and I think the Mr Nice Guy is an act.I like Minty but I have a feeling that Mel will win it she is so good.
 
I like Jimmy. I don't live too far from the area in which he was born, and I think he's likeable, old school East End without forcing it (like DANNY DYER does for example) I don't get why he wears the gloves though, really odd.

I think Mel will win. She's likeable and hasn't really gone wrong at all. I'd much prefer her to win over Mcfly guy.

The black gloves might be to help protect a recent cut or burn or even a new tattoo from the heat and damp and potential bacterial contamination of a kitchen environment. Or if he has eczema/psorisasis/other skin complaint he might be wearing the gloves so people don't comment on it, you know how people can get online, it might be very hurtful, especially if he was already self-conscious about it.

Or he could just plain not like the feel of raw meat or grease against his bare hands (I could sympathise there, raw chicken gives me the heaves).

I dunno! They're all valid reasons though, as long as he is changing them up as frequently as a person would wash their bare hands in a kitchen environment to avoid cross-contamination.

Yeah all very possible explanations. I've got a "thing" with greasiness. Hands, kitchen sink, even stuff before it goes in the dishwasher. I'm always scrubbing with washing up liquid

Curry is a large spectrum, there is a big difference between a Thai green curry and a Japanese Katsu!

I know this episode was filmed months ago, but still, the awkwardness whenever anyone refers to the Queen in the present tense... I bet the poor editor and producers were going over the footage with a fine tooth-comb right up to the deadline to try and rejig things.
