WTF happened to Ellen? I remember her in her sitcom years ago and she was attractive in that with a friendly looking face. I know we all age but that face is freaky and the buzz cut doing her no favours. Ice cold eyes too. Maybe it’s true we get the face we deserve?

I think she also dropped the more feminine styling when she finished doing the sitcom/came out and returned with her talk show.

That is so weird - I thought David Sylvian was utterly beautiful and I was madly in love with him when I was 14, and yet Nick Rhodes did nothing for me whatsoever.

I know what you mean! I did think Nick was gorgeous at the time (smart and confident, too which added to the appeal), but compared to David he seemed more frivolous and pin-up, David was a lot more serious it seemed, more in-depth.
