I get where Fern was coming from but she’s not following through and explaining herself and just giving little wishy-washy replies. Probably partly down to the show, the environment, the worry about her career and how she will be portrayed etc. But would have been much more clearer and direct if she’d explained why.

Yes, good points .. wishy-washy and patronising answers .. don’t think I would respond to them well.

Yes totally agree! Doesn’t look good on her and if she was sober she might have picked up on that response! I’m really not a Fern fan but I do get the ageist vibes from Nakita and some of that gang, I feel David is the only one has tried to show interest in everyone’s back story

I think because he said in his face to face nomination she doesn’t want to play games with him and would rather be alone or go to bed that she’s concluded he thinks she’s old and boring and it’s pissed her off!

She’s trying to tell him she’s not old and boring !

I’ve gone off him. He’s studied the programme and is playing the game.

100% I don’t even know who Nikita is tbh, I don’t watch Strictly and I’ve quite liked Fern up until the past few days. She was really on the nose with Ekin and said it with chest in-front of everyone so I’m unsure why she can’t say anything to Nikita about it? She’s a confident lady with her wits about her. Just spit it out, talk and move on

When Fern said it to Ekin Su though it was bolstered by a mountain of nominations for her in the face to face, Nikita is a lot more popular in there so could explain her weird approach.
