I think Fern was a bit unlucky with the mix of housemates this year. Obviously she's going to be an outsider to the boyband group and there's no women that she can relate to either as Zeze and Marisha have formed an alliance. The only older woman was Sharon and she didn't stay.
She's not keen on Louis either so she really has nobody to be mates with which must make a big difference.
 
Am I the only one totally fed up with the playschool gang? The screaming, and asinine behaviour is woeful. No wonder grown ups want them to shut the duck up. Why wasn't Bradley nominated for not putting himself forward? Why did Fern cop flak for eating a square of chocolate, when Colson was on his second Apple in the diary room? Does David not like apples, only chocolate??😀
 
I find something quite unlikable about Nikita, I didn't really notice it the first week as he blended into background but there has been a few things
- the fake tears for face to face nominations
- the over top reaction, questioning and apology after using offensive terminology
- the weird speech about putting himself up for courage nomination when Colson had already offered, like he wanted to be like
- how he seems to ignore Fern when she came over to sit with him and ask questions about task

Then in the most recent first look, his facial expression, shrugging and looking round room to catch attention of others while Fern is arguing with him reminds me exactly of a best friends toxic ex.

Yes i think you've hit the nail on the head, its like he acts up or dumbs himself down to the group of boys. I can imagine if it was a different mix of more masculine, non creative/artistic all singing all dancing group like former rugby players or similar he would behave very differently.
 
Nikita has made multiple comments about Fern not joining in so I imagine those comments & the top comment (even if meant as a compliment) probably built up. I can’t imagine anyone over the age of 12 would want to join in with those puppet shows though, especially not a 66 yr old woman!
 
What do we even know about Nikita ? They've been in there over 2 weeks ( is it? I don't really know) and we know absolutely nothing about him. He just seems so guarded and terrified of ruining his image. Which is fine, but don't go on bb if you are going to be like that.

Yeah Fern is boring, goes to bed early ( well early seems to be after 12 !) and talks about her plants. But that's who she is. She's a woman in her 60s.
I like Fern.
I'm indifferent to Nikita because I still don't know who he is.

Just watched it. He said to her that stripes are so fashionable but she took that as making out just because she’s old she can still be fashionable! I think she has somehow worked out that he finds her old and boring so she’s trying to say he’ll be old one day and realise that you can still be young at heart.

She obviously can’t ask him why he nominates her each time as it would break the rules.

Can I just say that I can't bleeping stand that immature twit Bradley 🙄

He acts like a twelve year old most of the time with his constant attention seeking antics.
I haven't heard him say anything remotely intelligent or interesting. I wish he would duck off back to school.

If he wasn't in the house Colson and Nikita would probably not be acting like idiots so much and we might have seen a bit more maturity from them.
 
I think if Bradley wins, it would be because he coasted along, never putting his head above the parapet. Now I am sure people have won before by doing that, but I don't think he would be a deserving winner.

I can understand why people feel as they do about Nikita. I feel that way re Bradley. I know as little about him as I did at the beginning, tbh.

I'm like a broken record but why was it that he got no grief abiut not nominating himself whereas Marisha did? Because he is one of the bathroom boys as someone described them? So he can do no wrong in the eyes of Colson?

He seems like a nice young guy but he has not been the slightest bit entertaining, to me. That show he and Nikita put on last night, well maybe you had to be there, but I thought it was pure cringey.

Everything Bradley does is pure cringe to me. I don't know how the others put up with him.
I certainly agree with you about the fact that baby Bradley never gers any grief from anyone.
It's unfair to criticise Marisha for not putting herself up when Bradley didn't either.
