I didn't understand the need to preface the story with her mentioning it was a period she was going on dates with LOTS of people either. Unless he was, God forbid, a white cis heterosexual male, who would of course be banned now.

it was also …unfunny and uninteresting. As was her follow up.

major cringe that she’s actually referring to herself as an ‘influencer’ - witch please

So I’ve ever posted here before, and generally I’m a huge fan of just unfollowing someone who annoys me, but I happened upon this thread by accident and honestly I’ve never read such on-the-money observations. I’ve debated with myself for MONTHS as to why I find her such hard work, and questioned A LOT as to whether my opinion is even valid on this due to my own privilege etc, but I think my main issue is just basic manners:

I have had a DM of mine shared because it made her laugh, yet no mention of my name (my account isn’t private), and I have recommended music which has then been referred to in stories but without crediting the fact it was recommended. Surely that is just good manners - like tagging someone whose meme you share, or posting about a new album you like that was recommended to you by a friend, rather than making a point about something and then taking the credit yourself.

welcome! That is so rude! Her ego comes before her manners apparently x

Recalibrated 🥴

Why don’t you just not go on the app. To uninstall something, to not use it for a single day, seems extreme.
