The thing I’m still angry about from her last thread was her berating A&E doctors for asking questions about her kids home life when she took one of them in with an injury. Always having to turn things round to be about how offended she is whilst totally failing to see the bigger picture and how this stuff is vitally important for spotting signs of abuse.

The amount of babies murdered by a relative in the press recently 😞 And to think, she’s probably bullied some staff in to not asking questions at all now!

I’ve picked my nephew up from nursery multiple times, with and without my sister. Whenever I’m there without her, even though staff know me by now, they ask me the password, ask for ID and they check with his teacher that they knew it was me coming up to get him. Is it time consuming? Yes. Does it annoy me needing to ALWAYS go back in the house from the car to get ID before I leave because I’m an idiot? Absolutely 😂 but would I want the risk of anyone being able to get the wee man without all these checks? No. Absolutely not.

Her daughter loved Brownies and said she wants to go back but Cathy wishes she’d signed her up for Cubs? Would this be to appear different and write some looooooonggg post about breaking down gender norms for content? And is the other stuff cooler in your eyes Cathy or your daughters?

If your daughter says she loves something why would you regret not signing her up for something else?

Also- having volunteered with both recently, I will tell you that Brownies/Guides have made enormous improvements to what they learn and do. 15 years ago I’d have sent my daughter to Cubs, but now I would send them to Brownies without a shadow of a doubt.

Has she just failed to do any research on this?
 
Her sentence doesn’t make any sense. Regardless of your pronouns, surely you call yourself a father or a mother? In which case you have two days to take your pick from… If you call yourself neither then I’m guessing you’re the sort of parent who wouldn’t celebrate either anyway. What exactly is her problem?! It must be exhausting fighting hypothetical battles all the time. She makes me tired
 
She doesn’t want her daughter to feel she ever has to prioritise a boys feelings 🤦🏻‍♀️ Fml. Don’t get me wrong I’m very much for women having rights and not being subservient to men etc etc but if her daughter is god forbid in cathys eyes, if she’s straight and ends up marrying a man sometimes we need to prioritise our partners feelings. My ex had a mental breakdown over his work and feeling like he had to stay at a job that made him ill, of course I prioritised him and told him to do whatever he needed to make himself better, I wasn’t in the same position so was ok. What is this absolute nonsense from her? Why’s she so extra and dramatic?

I'm not sure of the purpose of her instagram....is it skincare? Books? Disability awareness? Does Cathy even know?!
