That's such an aggressive post. It's also short sighted as duck. Whether you like it or not what you wear communicates something about you. If what I love to wear is booty shorts with a rhinestone playboy bunny on the arse... no one is going to take me seriously.

You can if you're rich, which is what many of them do and just use the poor kid for strategic social media content. She would 100% be this type of parent. 😿😿

No problem with posting a video of people dancing to a song during a party, that was the purpose of their second wedding after all.
BUT Buzz is an awful singer, wish they'd stop putting him on stage and giving him a 🎤.

Looking for content ideas for when Freebie has a baby.
Mr and Mrs we want a private wedding, just us and the Hello Magazine readers will farm that kid for content constantly.

Until she gets bored of being the first pregnant woman ever and cant be arsed anymore

Dear parents: nobody will ever find your kids as adorable as you do. In fact, a lot of people will find your kids mildly annoying. This is amplified if your surname is Fletcher.

I keep meaning to say - I hate what the Fletcher kids wore to the wedding. Shorts and a short sleeve shirt? I'm not expecting a full suit or anything but come on. They're not babies and should be able to wear a pair of trousers?

Edit to add: like this is the kind of thing I'd dress a kid in to go and see their grandma for Sunday dinner. Wedding? No

That's exactly how I feel too! Everyone else is dressed somewhat suitably (lol), but the kids just look scruffy. I get that they wanted them to be like Huey, Louie and Dewey... but it genuinely infuriates me seeing the photos. Especially when you see just how gorgeous Gi looks.

100% agreed. Especially emotionally. I noticed a huge difference in my emotional regulation when I started my adhd meds. Its why she sometimes looks like bpd, adhd can cause huge fast fluctuating emotions and such especially if you are like Carrie always trying to justify your life in a neurotypical world. She should get assessed
 
I can't say anything about the t-shirts under dresses thing - it is definitely "a thing". It's a bit 90s, but if that's your vibe I don't see anything wrong with it. There are plenty of magazine articles about pulling if off as a look. The fact that Carrie doesn't seem to understand how to put colours together is more the issue imo.

WRT Joel following baby accounts I find it a bit odd. I wouldn't be comfortable with an adult man who is unrelated to me following an account with pictures of my kids, so I don't put their pictures online. Bit sexist of me, I'm sure, but I find it generally odd to follow a baby account, especially if you're a childless adult man. When you tie that together with Joel sharing Tom's baby announcements before they knew each other I find the whole business a bit... unusual. Wouldn't go so far as making any wild, dark accusations but it makes me feel slightly uncomfy.
 
Took me another eternity to catch up with the threads, but THAT DRESS is, as some of you pointed out, more of a costume than any outlandish wedding attire I have ever seen. I get not wanting to be a traditional bride, with a traditional dress, but there are so many great ways in which she could have done that, and she somehow missed all of them. But I suppose it is the right (costume) dress for a pretend marriage. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I‘m surprised that the most obvious reason hasn’t been named yet . She is clearly acutely aware of her weight and insecure (despite saying otherwise). Those sleeves are supposed to cover her upper arms up. I don’t perceive it as a stylistic choice in the slightest, her shapeless dresses (self „crafted“ 🙃or not) which are only accentuated by the ugly belts follow the same logic. Her „newly found dress sense“ is only a matter of disguise 🤷🏼‍♀️..look at the scabby tent she wore for her wedding party 🤷🏼‍♀️ layers upon hideous layers.

Both you and @dull-board1243 had the same thought. I think you might be onto something, she is always covering herself up.

If I were so uncomfortable with my body I'd just do something about it instead of hiding my body and pretending I have a new found sense of style.
Especially because she's not a person that is shy about showing her body - she was posting videos dancing in her underwear when she was comfortable with how she looked.
