Carrie Hope Fletcher #59 wasting police time, when her relationship is the real crime

I’d just like to comment on her absolutely ridiculous post about people being concerned for people they don’t know.

Sorry Carrie, but I’m actually trained to be concerned for complete strangers that I met a few moments ago. I’m trained to look for signs of human trafficking. I’m trained to assess people’s comments/actions/behaviours and form an opinion based on what I see

And if I went to my boss to raise concerns about any of those things, I wouldn’t be accused of projecting (I’ve never been trafficked before so I wouldn’t know how to project). I wouldn’t be told not to worry about a complete stranger, my concerns would be taken on board and assessed.

This might all sound a bit OTT in comparison but she’s so stupid it’s infuriating.

I would have thought it might be nice to know people are looking out for you and care about your welfare, but that’s just me.
 
Ive just thought about her absolutely crazy lie that she has people checking tattle in case we leak her address or want to contact the bosses of her or Joel‘s jobs. That’s crazier than admitting you occasionally (ahem) read the thread yourself, does she realize that? As it’s been pointed out upthread, she usually claims that’s it’s just a few comments on Instagram, or Twitter, like last week. But now it’s been tattle all along, which she’s just basically admitted. She is obsessed with what we say on here and can’t let go. Yes, that’s sad, but it’s also her choice, plus she loves the attention she gets when she complains about it.

As someone living in a non-native-English-speaking place, it’s kind of worse when people move here and put in no effort to learn the language- which is what she would do. Moving somewhere different would definitely do her some good though

Which is exactly what she used to do; she checked (and still does) hashtags with her name; she used to do that a lot on Twitter to get herself involved even when people weren’t tagging her in posts. She loves these fights, she really does.

The Britney Spears comparison is so ridiculous because people didn’t know. They knew there was a conservatorship but not to what lengths that meant for Britney. It was the fans concerns on what she was posting and how she was interacting with them online which is what made people speak up about it. It’s only after the fact, after the fans put pressure on the people around her, that it became clear what was going on. I don’t think Carrie obviously is in as bad of a situation but blocking genuine fans who have genuine concerns is just ridiculous.
She just wants to be surrounded by yes people and not reflect on herself. If anyone has anything negative to say - blocked.
 
Her answer about learning the accent has been screenshotted and shared by a Theatre blogger (that may not be the term they’d use themselves but as a catch all) and dubbed “the latest example of an issue endemic to the British theatre industry” - I included the quote so that the tweet can be found without me including their name just incase

If I was Carrie, as soon as I'd been offered the job I would have had multiple lessons a week to try and get it down as much as possible. She's had plenty of time. Why is she only doing it now?

eta -People are already annoyed that natives of Czechia/Ireland have been overlooked in favour of those two. Surely you'd want to do them some justice? Like 'I know I'm not Czech but want to do you guys proud' kinda thing.

She's going to offend an entire country :(

The answer to the accent Q ‘How are you finding doing a Dublin accent?’ ’My character isn’t Irish! She’s Czech ❤️’ I’m sure that person will be happy with the answer. Why does Carrie only want to put out only passive aggression in the Q and As? Answer the damn question we all know they meant, don’t just post the correction sans answer? It’s pointless and makes her look bad

She's such a tosser. She could easily have added the answer underneath - "My character is actually Czech. It's been challenging learning that accent but I've practiced a lot and I hope I do it justice."

But she'd probably have been better off not clarifying whatever the hell accent is going to come out her mouth on Sunday, because it certainly won't be anything close to Czech!
