It just strikes me sometimes (not specifically about what you are saying, but the post prompted it) that because Oli and Alessia are very conventionally attractive and behaving in a way on social media that seems to appeal (I find it a bit snoozefesty, personally) people are willing to cut them a LOT of slack. It absolutely ties in to the psychology of how, as people, we tend to give attractive people an easier ride, that they are forgiven more easily and less likely to be at the receiving end of a bollocking - or even less likely to believed to be guilty of something - and they don't have as tough a life because of it. I just find it really odd. This might all be a bit "deep" for here though.....

What’s interesting is that while Oliver was dating Carrie, his looks were bashed all the time on here. He was called creepy, weird-looking, serial killer eyes (sounds familiar, doesn’t it?) etc. Dont know why people would suddenly give him an easier ride because of his looks, when for five years that wasn’t the case.
Then again, I’m not into men, so maybe Oliver is suddenly considered super attractive by Tattle standards 😁

Absolutely agree, Oliver and Alessia definitely get a lot of slack on here just because they're conventionally attractive.
I don't find Oliver and Alessia any more interesting than Joel and Carrie. Carrie is marginally more interesting because her account is an entertaining trainwreck. But both Carrie and Oliver and actors who can't act and who love selfies of themselves. Very boring.

it’s just another fast cashgrab and will just wither on the vine along with her other eleventy billion five minute fads when she realises she has to actually provide the content these desperados are asking for for their cash. Way too much effort.

What slack? If they were posting their asscracks and videos of them making out and looking creepily into the camera before going in for the kill and videos of foreplay, we'd be equally disgusted.

They simply post very little and very tastefully about their relationship. So they don't need anyone to cut them slack, they know how to act and post on social media.

I think compared to Shrek he has now gone up in our estimations!
 
The thing is, she should be treating her ‘corner of the internet’ like an exclusive fan club purely for those who have stuck around throughout this tit show. It’s not like she’s speaking to the masses, her fanbase has shrunk considerably in the past few years, and now she’s trying to make more money off those who can afford it?

Why not give all the fans you have left the same treatment?

Joel was a fan favorite when he came onto the scene. Just go back to the threads if you want. Everyone was saying this is great, Carrie has found an older man who is established in her career and may keep her grounded. The tides turned once we saw his personality. His looks were always there. People who are saying Joel is disliked for his looks/not being conventionally attractive just come across as projecting, to be honest

Some people said Joel seemed alright and hoped he would be good for her. Many, many people immediately wrote disparagingly about his looks, in a way they never did about Oliver - only occasionally would people say he looked like a puppet. I don't comment on any of their looks, I just think they're all boring and Oliver and Carrie can't act.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - Oliver doesn’t live with Alessia. He spends a lot of time at her place, yes, but he’s not officially moved in and has a (shared) place of his own. I have no idea if he contributed when living with Carrie but this rumour is a stretch to say the least.

Also how insanely self important do you need to feel to try to charge people £25 a month for the odd clown/bag lady selfie and rant about meanie haters? At least when people do OnlyFans there’s a tangible market for that type of content.. I cannot fathom how mentally challenged you would have to be to subscribe to CHF’s mundane tit. Glad she’s getting backlash for this.
