Apart from him just being creepy and gross, and the sort of guy I wouldn’t want sitting next to me on the bus… Joel also comes across as someone VERY hard to break up with, I can imagine he’d either get angry and use anything he can against Carrie and try to make her feel as small as possible. OR be clingy and whiney and try all the puppy dog eyes. I just feel like he’d be impossible to get rid of which is maybe where all the stalker/murderer vibes come from!

I agree completely, Carrie really needs someone who will tell her when she is being ridiculous and encourage a healthy relationship with social media. But unfortunately Carrie would never be with someone who ever said a bad word about her- she thrives on attention and yes men and was brought up by the biggest apologist going, her mum. I just think she would have a melt down if she met someone who held her accountable or offered an alternate view point!

I’m not sure who said it further back in the thread but Joel definitely has lost weight recently. I was scrolling back through his tiktoks and his face has slimmed down considerably in his latest ‘kissing Carrie on camera’ video compared to the several other ‘kissing Carrie on camera’ videos from May/June. I wonder if it’s intentional.

She's not unattractive she's a pretty woman but nothing like what she use to look like. I could understand why she got so much male attention years ago because some old pictures she was gorgeous. She has changed so much, herself and skids are well matched in terms of attractiveness. Like if she went on first dates she would be matched with someone like Joel and vice versa, IMO
