It appears to be quite common for Carrie to look like she is in pain whenever she smiles for photos with fans… I noticed this a long time ago! I wonder what goes through her head when these pictures are taken..?

No at most venues the Meet & Greet tickets were about £110 vs a stalls "normal ticket" top price around £55. (not sure about the Palladium).

Bear in mind also that if you're there with someone else then if you wanted to sit together for the show then both tickets would have to be the Meet & Greet ones so you have to pay that uplift on each ticket, it's not a separate Meet & Greet fee like some artists do.

So a couple or a parent and daughter wanting to do Meet & Greet are looking at £110-ish for their 90 seconds and a photo.

I have no problem with buying a meet and greet - I have one myself with James Norton in November for the same sort of price. But imagine paying that for Carrie. bleeping Carrie 🤣, if I paid for a picture and she rocked up looking like a demented orange knob - I'd want my money back.
 
So does Joel just follow people around and hope they like him eventually?

Absolutely disgusted by Joel making this all about himself. I did actually try and give him the benefit of the doubt as I was reading as he did actually work with Gavin Creel, but God, all I can see is just "I, I, I".

I know he always posts about public figures passing away because he wants to be topical and relevant, and I was willing to give him some grace as we all grieve differently and this is someone he knew, but this really isn't it, especially when you compare it to other people who worked with Creel and have posted about it. Just on a quick insta scroll, I saw posts from Rob Madge, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Kerry Butler and none of them have been anywhere near as self-absorbed as Joel's. It just comes across as really self-centred.

Actually, Gavin Creel was with Carrie in Mary Poppins, wasn't he? I'm guessing we're due a post from her about it too then. Wonder if she'll do better.

I feel like it was genuine and while he doesn’t come across well over written word I do actually think he comes across as quite likeable in videos (outside of his dress sense which is just awful across the board) which I know can be an unpopular opinion here.

I think what struck me was he basically followed your man around as a fan so much he knew his name, then eventually was lucky and talented enough to work with him. Very similar to how he got Carrie, he basically followed her around for 7/8 years until an opportunity came up.
 
I’ll start by saying, that I think I’ve made it clear that I think he’s twit, who licks too many arses and uses far too many exclamation marks!!!!!!!!!
However. I think he is more talented than Carrie. He went to study MT, he can sing, has comedic timing and can dance (but not healthy enough now!) While he may not have been cast in principle role, he’s done a lot of west end and touring shows, plus local (which I’ve seen him in)
He seems to have friends, (we know at least 431!)
Most of carries shows were as a kid, as an adult, it’s just been Les Mis, heathers, Adams and Cinderella- not exactly a long list.
I’ll end by saying, he’s creepy, dropped local friends and dresses like a 70’s gym teacher
