Caroline Hirons #9 No. I did like her in the past, now I think she's an oaf

Can I ask why they were removed without any changes? I have loads of moles and was just wondering? My friend has a mole check every 3 months at the hospital and usually has 2/3 removed due to changes.

I had a load of mine removed from my scalp  when I was a teenager. They kept catching on brushes etc and at the hairdressers so it was pissing me off, got referred to a clinic and they said they were the 'type' of mole than can go rogue so decided to remove them all. I couldn't wash my hair for 10 days afterwards, which as a 15 year old girl was THE WORST THING EVER. I also couldn't bring myself to say 'mole removal' to any of my friends so when I was off school they all totally freaked out when they discovered I'd had surgery on my head.

The thing that I remember the most was going into theatre totally on my own and as the nurses were getting me into my gown (why did I only have my pants on for head surgery 🤷‍♀️ I felt really embarrassed I'd not shaved my legs for a couple of days 🤷‍♀️) one of them said, "ooh, you're beautiful, the doctors are going to like you a lot."

That comment really stuck with me. Don't imagine a nurse saying that kind of thing nowadays.

Ah right, I understand why you had them removed! Totally creepy of the nurses!!!

The first few were sat under my bra line and stuck out about 1cm from my skin and around 2cn diameter. Not a problem when I didn't wear a bra as a youngster but were constantly catching on it. They removed all those for me. The biggest one they kept, it had a 7cm root and squeezed out like a spot 🤮
Oh god that turned my stomach! I was considering having a mole on my chin removed and now terrified at what may lie beneath...

I'm genuinely horrified she has said moles don't need to be watched. For God's sake she knows the freaks take her every word literally- how can she not care if someone ignores a potentially dangerous mole because "Caroline says". I'd like to think the majority have more wit but given a lot that I've seen on the freaks group, there is definitely some that will take her as bible.

I should have added I have a lot of moles all over my body and face. Lopping them off isn't really practical for me- also I don't have a hatred for them?

Same! If I chopped all my moles I’d have no skin! I watch them and if there are any changes I get them checked!

My mum used to tie skin tags with thread and once, I repeat once she tried to burn them off using a lighter. She was a nurse, bless her. I remember her bringing out the poultice for boils, you don't hear too much about those these days. :ROFLMAO: oh dear oh dear.

I cut my skin tags off with thread many years ago too. I also used a bread and mustard poultice to bring out a boil when I was a teenager. Reader, it actually worked.

She used to be very friendly with "clean" brands like may Lindstrom, vintners daughter ( what a scam), and drunk elephant before they snubbed her. Remember the blue cocoon she couldn't smell without oohing and aahing?

And she continues to shill her ‘husbands’ that bottle up overpriced tit. Josh Rosebrook being the worst. He’s literally the epitome of everything that’s wrong with ‘clean beauty’, but she’s happy to flog his snake oil in return for $$$$$$

Do many people still get things like boils? Chilblains as well. You used to hear about them all the time when we were kids but never hear about them at all these days do you?

I once accidentally lopped off a little something (mole or skin tag, not really sure) on my husband’s hairline when I was cutting his hair with the clippers. He hit the roof and it it bled for ages. I did feel bad, but the upside is he doesn’t ask me to do his hair now 😂
