I’m still thinking about that video a day later, absolutely horrendous. I’m a parent and never seen a child so upset they’re hyperventilating. Poor poor thing.

not excusing her filming him in such a state, but mine have definitely been at the hyperventilating end of a meltdown over something stupid (to us, prob life shattering to them)… and that’sjust with us holding boundaries, not shouting etc. Some kids just lose their tit monumentally!

Yeah totally get it, every child is different! I guess the difference with us is that we’d 1) remove child from danger 2) comfort them. Not film and post it online 🙁

Please tell me what oven hyperventilating drama I missed!
She turned off the youngests white noise machine. He was very upset so she removed it from his room and put it in the kitchen next to the oven.
He got out of bed, and in his sleep sack (which may have been open at the bottom? Unclear. But was quite long) opened the oven door and was stood on it trying to use the knobs to pull himself up onto the hob so he could reach the white noise machine. While he was doing this he was in a distressed state hyper ventilating. She was stood in the doorway filming.

So he went from his bedroom to the kitchen by himself in an upset state, yet she’d only turned her back for a second and he’s on the oven? Something doesn’t add up there. Why had he got that all that way without her intervening?

We didn’t actually see what happened before we just got told she removed his white noise machine and he went ‘nuts’ and then he climbed on the oven to try get it. He was still in his sleep bag so either just woke up or going to sleep I guess 🤷🏼‍♀️. I agree kid’s hyperventilate because they do get themselves worked up, but agree with above you comfort and don’t film. And also just leave the white noise on if it’s that big of an issue surely?!

Yes pick your battles

I wish I'd screenshot it now. I think she said she removed the white noise machine from the room because he was upset she turned it off? It just makes no sense to me. Its job is literally to comfort babies/small kids...

100% she's asking herself questions so she can suggest there are things going on that she's keeping private, and areas of her life she doesn't discuss... its such a cliche.

She is totally dating someone. No selfies with girlfriends this week end! I bet she is going to pretend for a long time she is single to continue this superwoman can do it all narrative! Kudos to the real single parents who don’t waste time filming their kids for the gram.
