I would imagine there is some truth to it but if trixie isn’t leaving then it’s going to be interesting if it was confirmed!

I loved their early storyline when Shelia was a nun and they fall in love with each other from afar.
I re watched the whole series from the beginning earlier this year and still got all the feels from their whole early storyline
But the quality of the writing and acting was so much better then. It went down hill dramatically after the abortion storyline I feel like that was the last good story arc.

I feel like after Val left it’s just felt very flat. That huge plot twist of her gran being the one doing them had me gripped but since then it doesn’t feel the same

I think it’s gotten too comfortable and maybe too safe? It’s feel good nostalgic television and I think the pressure of upholding that has made it boring. I couldn’t believe the underwhelming end to Lucille- she just disappeared home to Jamaica and left poor Cyril. It felt like such a cop out move on the writer’s part.

I also hated the way Val was written out her character deserved more that a thrown away line about relocating but I hate the way Heidi writes out alot of characters, Chummy, her husband, Pasty, Cynthia, and Sister Hilda are a few examples
I am only image what way Lucille will be written out!

Yes it’s definitely weird how about so many characters abruptly disappear. Remember Sister Mary Cynthia ? Abandoned to an asylum!

It definitely gives toxic work environment- if you push back you’re written out asap!

I find it weird that Sister Monica Joan’s dementia is never mentioned nor has it progressed.

oh yes, good old Mrs B! Never seen on screen. I’d love for her to make an appearance. It would be good to have a character at Nonnatus who’s neither nun nor nurse; a neutral shoulder to cry on sort of thing
