The cast and writers had a dinner/ meeting yesterday to go through the coming Christmas special and next series. Everyone was there beside the actress who plays Trixie it will be interested how they get around The King and I tour and transfer to the West End. I can't see Trixie being in the next series much but the actor who plays her husband was there which is strange.

They may well write in a difficult pregnancy. She could film all her scenes in one go

Helen’s not doing the Manchester shows in May. I think they tend to film in the summer. I don’t think it rules her out necessarily.

I just checked the website for the King and I and it does state that Helen George (Trixie) will be playing venues until 29th April so maybe your right!!

I'm raging - I've got tickets for the King and in glasgow and was looking forward to seeing her!!!

Just posting here cos no one I know really watches it and I need to confess my love for Phyllis Crane. She just carries the show for me. Her friendships with Barbara and Ms Higgins

I’m knocking on the door of 50 and I’d have another baby so Lucille could call me precious and Phyllis could call me lass. And I don’t even like babies.
 
My only bugbear with the show, which I've seen in comments, is the Turners! Not so much Shelagh, I don't mind her. But Patrick is so flippin Hallmark movie. And he's CTM's answer to Peppa Pigs Miss Rabbit with all his jobs! Sole GP to seemingly half of London, gynecologist, obstetrics surgeon, forensics.. and somehow gets everyone a specialist hospital referral within days, if not hours!

His smile weirds me out too

Haha I've been reading back through the thread and just read another post about her arms and hands. Hadn't noticed before but I don't think I'll be able to unsee it now! 🤣

Yes his smile when his chin goes down to his chest and he grins!!
 
Remember the actress who played Meg and Mave Carter? She's in an episode of black mirror and she's very good. Thought I'd mention it here in case anyone was looking for something to watch.

He gave an interview a week ago about his new role in Waterloo Road, and he said how much he missed working with his partner Helen.
Her Insta story must’ve expired. Can’t see anything.
