Same, it’s such an invasion of their privacy. I loved my “play dates” growing up with my mums best friends kids, funny how our mums managed to go all those years without sneaking creepy photos of us.

Also our mums didn’t supervise us like babies. Erin is almost 14, is she not allowed outside in the (for once) nice weather away from overbearing Babs?

Honestly if those kids ever go to uni and move into halls they ever won’t cope because they’ve been babied so much or they’ll go bleeping wild from never having experienced freedom before.

They’ll go nuts, trust me, I work in HE & see it every Freshers’ Week, the kids with the helicopter parents hovering over them at drop off, micromanaging the whole process, generally go wild when left unattended because they’ve never had that level of freedom or responsibility before, they don’t know how to handle themselves, they can’t keep themselves safe or make good choices. Or they’re completely crippled by a taste of adulthood (even in the relatively supervised confines of a University) & go home in the first semester.

The actual irony of this is almost iconic.
I own three dresses by the way, for leisure. (I have work tailored dresses but they don’t count) and the aPsolute balls to say she doesn’t do much for herself, while giving a thumbs up next to a rail stuffed (and I do mean stuffed- look at the amount of hangers so close together) to the gills with dresses for herself.
Tragic try hard twit.

She is awful.
Buying cheap tat isn't self care
Buying fast fashion isn't thinking of yourself

Buy well fitting items that will last - no issue in re wearing items
Concentrate on exercise and diet
Drink water
Practice mindfulness start pilates
Buy less make up - a few items that suit
Get hair professionally cut and coloured

Allow the kids to grow up
Live your life for you not for instagram
