I did suffer the vlog out of curiosity.

Found it really forced. No one seemed happy or relaxed, babs was trying to force Ethan to meet characters (he clearly didn't want to) . She seemed low level annoyed about everything , the randomness of characters walking around,the fact the others wanted to go on the big wheel - she'd rather eat her own shite 💩 she crudely informed us. Not allowing the kids to watch the fireworks , controlling hwhere they ate... Babsplaining clam chowder, patronising Ethan that he was tired at the end. She clearly still uses him as a cover that she can't stay up beyond 8pm even on holiday😡 hence they have to be cooped up in their one bedroom in the hotel while other families with toddlers of young kids Iare out enjoying themselves on their holiday of a lifetime !!

she made Disney Cali looked shite , like a run down theme park by the sea ....

Erin seemed totally underwhelmed / embarrassed by the whole experience choosing to distance herself at all times and PUS was his usual charismatic monotonous monosyllabic self ....

Obviously I’m not comparing a parent relationship with a spouse relationship but Ste has always come across as so awkward even touching Babs - like you’d think that was his default setting with everyone.

But he can clearly show natural affection to his kids but can’t to his wife - there’s a photo from that trip where Babs has her arms wrapped around him and he’s not even got a hand touching her arm or hand.

Their marriage is the strangest most boring relationship I’ve ever come across. I genuinely believe if Ste hadn’t been so young when they got together or Babs wasn’t so loud and controlling he would not have been with her long enough to have actually got married.

Steve's discomfort whenever babs is anywhere near him, let alone touching him, is so obvious - any photo of them together, he always has his fists tightly clenched, and time she demanded he do the titanic pose with her when they were in the Disney cruise, and he couldn't get away from her fast enough, it was visibly unbearable for him to touch her! there is aPsolutely no way they share a bed - i very much doubt there is even the most basic of physical contact, any hug they DO have is forced for the camera, with Steve tightly clenching his jaw.

i do wonder that if Steve hadn't felt so embarrassed if his relationship with babs that he hid it from his family for an entire year, they're may have been an opportunity for them to talk some sense into him before the relationship became more serious - and there is no WAY Steve would have proposed when he did if not for babs' threats. even with her giving him an ultimatum, he literally left it til the eve of her 30th birthday, postponing his proposal to the last moment possible - and the photos of him dancing with her at their wedding, you can see the horror and regret on his face as he realises that he is stuck with her. i do wonder if it was partly because he - according to babs - had never been in love before netting HER, and that he got caught up in the fact that he was with an older woman and it made him feel like a manly man - in the same way that she makes such a huge deal of him being her toyboy, or at least she did til he hit 40 and the novelty wore off.

either way, as much as he benefits from the perks of babs' "career" and all the TREATS, i think he mainly remains in the marriage for the sake of the Es, and that the moment they leave home or go to uni etc, he'll be long gone. it's just a shame he didn't have the balls to do it soon, and take the Es with him to protect them from babs' exploitation, instead of simply going along with it and allowing their safety to be placed at risk so he doesn't have to deal with the fallout. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I noticed a couple of times in the slog she said things like 'we need to get some shots of the big wheel for the vlog' and when they were entering San Fran Tokyo or whatever it's called (Babs, the researcher and presenter of the tit show didn't even know what it was called and had to keep checking with the cast members, aka the kids). She said something like 'I need to record it so the people can see it'

No you don't, you need to put the camera down and focus on the family. Yes, take a quick video to show the Wets when you get home, by all means. But then no content, no tax concessions by the tax man cos it is no longer classed as 'werk' I guess.
 
We’ve watched a few episodes of Bluey and have no kids; we turned on the TV one morning in WDW whilst getting ready and the little Aussie bleep was on and we found ourselves half watching whilst getting ready. Would we sit down and watch a couple of episodes randomly whilst at home? No, because we’re adults and can watch literally anything else. It’s just bleeping weird on her part.

Also, just come across this on Insta. Think you should be worried babs given how you haven’t had an original idea this millennia.

I’ve said it before and I’ll continue to say it, that house is an abusive household with the abuser being babs. You don’t need a bruise to be abused. An abused person will do anything to keep the abuser happy, and, unfortunately this comes at a cost . ☹️

Absolutely! It’s why things like this always bother me. I grew up in a household like this and from what we’ve seen of Babs, my mother was much worse. But this is only based on what we see of her of course. I’m sure she’s definitely worse in real life as she tries to fake it for her audience. I never watch her vlogs but had to see the bit where she sniped back at Ethan about winning in her carriage. The look of disgust at him questioning her and then the delight that she put him in his place and came out on top was disgusting but unsurprising.
