I hope the FAT CONTROLLER catches up here and finds out that she can fly all the way to LA, she can pay to go to Warner Bros all she wants but she is absolutely 100% NOT guaranteed to see the Gilmore Girls set. Yes it's there but a whole load of things depend on what sets she actually gets to view and when. She also can't just throw money at it like she normally would given there's no specific GG tour or option.
The only thing she is guaranteed is access to the gift shop.

tbh, my first thought was that the measles is an incredibly poor example to use given the current situation - there are countless other illnesses she could have chosen. chicken pox vs THE chicken pox or whatever. but ofc, we can't expect babs to have up-to-date knowledge about what's happening in the world, as she has to wait for Sharky to give her a bullet point update, played down into child-approproate language, because she is such a sensitive soul that reading here news herself is far too overwhelming. i imagine Steve deemed a mention of the measles epidemic as a bit "grown up" for babs, and phrased it in toddler terms. 🙄🙄

also, i personally do. not refer to Tesco as "Tescos" - it is one of my pet peeves, and infuriates me eveyy time I hear it. same with the pluralising of "Asdas" or "Lilds" etc. i have also never said "I'm just popping to THE tesco" - what the duck is she babbling on about, and more to the point, HOW is this content?! HOW is this "werk"? i see content shared by other influencers, and it's clear that they put genuine effort into their posts and reels. meanwhile, babs has made a "career" out of talking utter tit in her stories, creating nonsensical "Gary Barlow vs roast potatoes" polls, fabricated and continuosuly contradictory stories about her WILD teen years and supposed list of medical diagnoses - again, in her latest podcast episode, she was talking about heroin chic in the 90s, intentionally trying to give the impression that she struggled with an eating disorder, as she explained that despite being a size 10, she only ate soup 🙄 - jibberish captions with poor grammar and excessive full stops and reels she puts absolutely no time, thought or effort into - especially the recent ones, which are literally just a slide shows of images she has swiped from google, or footage of her as she pouts and grimaces at the camera while flciking her hair, with an caption typed across it.

Tbf I have 6.5 weeks paid leave a year plus bank holidays and can take unpaid leave as well as flexing my hours to get random days off I need. a holiday in half term, Easter and 2 weeks in summer is only 5 weeks plus a week at Christmas and things like Amsterdam and DLP she did were long weekends. it’s doable, materialistic but doable
