I was reading Brogan’s testimonial on her “content creator consultant” website. I don’t know why anyone would pay for something like that, especially when Brogan of all people seems to be her biggest client. She says her goal is to get to 100k subscribers and this girl will help her... when, hun? Her content has plummeted, her subscribers have stagnated and she can’t even post a professional ad. You were conned.

From what I recall the coach was a PR person at a brand and that’s how she knows Brogan, she then went off and started her own coaching business and Brogan was literally her first and only client for sooo long so it could be very possible she’s just not good at coaching. Brogan is the guinea pig.
 
I noticed on her grid post yesterday her friend she voice notes for 8 minutes (the Shannon girl who recently had a baby) had commented about it looking amazing and brogan replied saying can’t wait for us to go on long walks...am I missing something? Is this not something they can do now?

Just an observation regarding YouTube subscribers - she hit 25k in dec 2015. It’s 2021 and she’s still not at 80k, doesn’t she realise 100k is still a way off. She clearly had a quick rise in subscribers when YouTube was big but as we’ve said here, unless you’re consistent and good to watch you won’t attract new subscribers. Isn’t it views which matter now not the subscriber count so much? What I find alarming is the fact a lot of YouTubers knew this would happen and have worked hard to carve a normal career or invest. A few off the top of my head - Fab Hannah has invested in property, she still lives at home but she could have moved out, Alfie also invested in property and has his future self label, Charlotte is continuing to be successful in her Disney career. YouTube to them was great at the time but they’ve thought ahead. They’ve worked hard to put things in place for when it dries up. Brogan hasn’t put any serious thought into her future because her only aim is to get the 100k plaque. She can’t honestly believe this is her life forever and she doesn’t need to worry. The content coach clearly isn’t working and I dread to think how long she’s been paying...!
 
I swear she said she and her ‘friend s’ had arranged an outdoor birthday meet up for the week after her birthday when restrictions lifted? Haven’t seen any evidence of this 🤔

also I hate this whole orange/teal preset theme she has on her Instagram. I swear other influencers were doing this preset theme in 2019. She’s just copying an old trend at this point (also it looks awful and washes her out!)

Do we think Brogan will hit 100k and then quit youtube? After 100k there really isn’t anymore major milestones she will ever hit (I’m talking 1mil), or do you think she’ll use the 100k to up her AD prices and keep at it?

ETA: it just doesn’t feel like her heart is in it anymore and 100k was her only goal, so just feels like she might just pack it in once she hits her ‘glass ceiling’, although maybe not because easy money etc.
 
I honestly don't think the 100k subscribers means anything to brands anymore. They look at average viewers per video rather than subscribers. If anything it will go against her that she has 100k subs but her average video views are so low.

There's newer, fresher channels with 20k subscribers that regularly hit 30-50k views per video with a high ratio of likes (Brogan of course hides hers). She may up her AD prices but to a brand that just makes her less attractive as her content is so poor and the views haven't gone up to reflect it so it raises eyebrows on whether those 100k are legit or just bought. I don't see her attracting any other brands she hasn't already worked with tbh.

This 100k milestone is all in her head cos she has nothing else to work towards. So many bloggers/youtubers now are, like already mentioned, branching out with their own brands, working more at a more stable career, investing or studying and just doing youtube on the side. Brogan is disillusioned enough to think this is all she will need to do, either that or just rely on Benji for everything, which could be her plan.
 
I think if i was in her position I'd be constantly worrying what to when the work dries up. How will she pay her mortgage?

Brogan should really spend all this free time wisely while she has it now, she could easily be doing some training courses or volunteer or even do 1 day a week of freelancing or something to stick on her CV
