Remember “The Way Away” vlog? Outwardly happy couple doing the digital nomad traveller thing. She was a bit much, very try-hard. He always had a “why am I with her” vibe. There was a weird tone about it all. It ended when he came out as trans and vlogged it in a dress. It’s all still on YT.

All of them are like this!!! I’ve had a number of “travel couple vloggers” show up on my feed when they split. The ones I’m surprised haven’t happened yet are the Aussie ones who have now had two kids. Can’t think of their names. But he’s camper than a tent. You buy a house pop out a kid or two and then duck back off travelling for months on end with no income in sight. I’m sure the crotch goblins and their parents must be a delight when they decide to turn up for school a week or two each term.

Oh maybe that’s her degree but she probably hasn’t actually used it in a fair number of years with their nomadic life. I guess I just think that kids need structure and friends. It’s great to take them on trips but doesn’t need to be their entire lives. There’s a number of the travel ones now milking their kids for content. It’s one thing to present this fake unattainable life as consenting adults and have a haphazard existence but to drag kids into it, no thanks.

I find the whole homemaker dynamic they have so incredibly weird. Since forever, me and my husband kinda take it in turns/whoever fancies making food does it, and we have actual jobs and kids. I get that some people don’t enjoy cooking but come on, he waits in her hand and foot and it’s really weird.
