I know this sounds harsh because any reading should be encouraged - but she is literally the most TikTok recommended book ‘girly’ ever. I cannot stand seeing these same books over and over and over and over and over again.

She hates these books. Fine. But why keep them just because they look good on a bookshelf? It's all about how it looks with her rather than pure enjoyment of reading (although she's far from alone with this). She's also daft for buying the whole series without even reading the first book IMO. But, hey, they look good on the shelf.
