Pretty sure if my husband died it would take me a lot longer than 3 months to stop it consuming every minute of my waking day 😬

don’t really think it’s comparable to Brogan losing her dog who she left at every opportunity. But still, I don’t think Brogan has posted too much about it yet. We’d only be criticising her more if she never mentioned Bonnie again.

Then take a leave of absence from her cushyTV job to grieve privately. Everytime I read the news from the UK there’s another article where she’s talking about how she’s broke because of his illness, how the council keeps sending her letters, etc. No tit, all the things regular folks have dealt with for decades while having a family member seriously ill/dying.

I just hate people milking death/illness for sympathy and attention whether it’s a spouse or a pet.

what good will it have done though? it’s not like they would have to start arranging a funeral and sorting out affairs. Whether they grieved or not, they could do that on the ship as much as from home.

I probably would have given the water park a miss though and taken advantage of most other people being off the ship to have some quiet time.

even if she did vlog the water park, I would bet she wouldn’t post it as she wouldn’t want people to see her having fun so soon after.

I don’t think we can criticise Brogan for smiling after Bonnie passed then at the same time criticise Kate for still mentioning her husband passing 3 months after it happened. What is the optimum time then?

I don’t know who Brogan is and don’t have the time to read her threads but the post of Bonnie dying came up on my explore page

until I saw that post I didn’t know brogan or Bonnie existed but what I will say is what idiot travels for MONTHS when they have a 14 year old dog at home?

spaniel life expectancy is 12-15 so there was every chance that beautiful dog could have passed. And now she has passed wondering where her owners were in her final moments

this girl has pissed me off beyond belief and that’s all I have to say on the matter

sorry to interrupt but I’ve been angry about this for days

I always say, go home for life not for death.
If there is nothing to be done, generally animals go down in a day or 2.
They clearly regretted the whole thing, not enough time in any country and rushed the whole trip to eat and drink on a rust bucket.

I thought it's so funny that they kept saying of this trip is expensive but we aren't having a wedding, yes you are having a wedding party so you are!? Morons

I personally agree that it wouldn’t have done any good for them to have flown home, as they very well could have been too late (dogs can go quickly), but what I will say is:

1) Don’t book a 3 month cruise when your spaniel is 12+ years old. They could have easily waited.
2) Don’t tell your followers that you would fly home if anything happened, and then don’t
3) Don’t try to manipulate the timeline she passed because you didn’t actually want to fly home, and then reveal the actual timeline a week later
4) Don’t claim you need weeks on end off work to grieve for a dog you left to go on holiday, and then only come back to work because you’re caught on instagram being tagged in fan photos as you’re out having a jolly old time. If you can go to a waterpark, a theatre show, and several other days out, you can edit a youtube video.
