If you were asked to write the back story to the photo you’d say

“A matronly middle aged teacher was approaching 50, alone in her cottage full of tat. She had long forgotten where her fanny was, spending her weekends knitting, baking, praying and rearranging her stamp collection. Then who should move into the village but Ginger Joe, fresh out of prison, and proudly bearing the stab wound from the fight that put him there. When he asked Ms Matron for the loan of a fiver until dole day she took pity on him and invited him in for tea. 2 years later he was still in her living room drinking cans of Dutch Gold. When she suggested the idea of a job he proposed immediately. Ms Matron cashed in her pension and booked the wedding on a rusty old cruise ship that would be free from riff raff, riding, rowdiness…. and hormones, the average age on board being 77. She made her own dress from her old net curtains. Ginger Joe had an old suit from his days in Marbella, the stain of lipstick from stripper Diamond Dayz was faded enough, no need for a wash.”

I can see what she was going for with the ethereal, whimsical dress.. but to pull something like that off you need the vibe to match. She’s about as whimsical as a gremlin

Edited to add - looks like that photographer has only done about 10 weddings from her insta.
 
"How in the hell is she going to press her huge bouquet with her tiny af kit?" was my first thought lol

She could have chosen a pop of colour for the flowers. White dress, white bouquet, white cake, white husband, white house like please we get it you're bland.
Her makeup doesn't look good but no surprise here.

If you want to elope and have an "unconventional" wedding, why choose a conventional dress?
This is a dress for a wedding where people attend. The train would be lovely if she walked down the aisle, in a cute wedding decorated venue.
The only unconventional thing about all of this is how much older they look.

He looks awful. The colour of the wrinkly suit, the colour of the shoes, the unbuttoned shirt, THE POSE HE TOOK FOR THE PHOTOS! You're not playing mini-golf, that's your wife not your club!
 
I hate the pink undertone to the dress which clashes with the sunburn and the white shoes 🤮 not keen on the sleeves either. She looks like a cross between an opera singer and Fergie.
I wish someone would snip that bit of sticky out hair from Binscars fat head

They look happy though, were they thinking about the cake?

Bogie is SUCH an influencer. Nicotine stained aesthetic is going to be HUGE in 2025 now. Seriously, they look as aged as the Boat 😂 she looked OK. She also could have looked amazing. Imagine spending 2 years planning something and the thing you neglected was yourself.

Clive has posted that he is going to write up the Sydney and Brisbane days whilst they are at sea. C'mon Clive, don't let us down!!
