Literally, my 4 month old smiles at anyone and everyone and smiles at us all the time, he has since he was like 2.5-3ish months. But we actually interact with him a lot he has some independent play but we also play with him a lot. I very much doubt they do much with them, their faces say it all. Poor babies.
