Brittany Bathgate #2 Buying things to fill the gaping hole in her personality

Exhibit A of the shallowness.

Vintage Brittany:

When she was unpacking the Noguchi lamp she bought a few years ago she kept calling it the "Japanese lamp". She acted as if she'd discovered it (discovered like Columbus). She wanted to frame the pamphlet that came with it.

When all the beigies got one, around the same time, she learned it was Noguchi, and saw a show at the Tate etc. etc.

Of course, now, she's always loved him, (the Japanese designer of lighting for minimalist influencers lol). Always.

Nvm that he's an icon of the mid 20th century. Nvm that he was an artist and landscape designer who had a studio in the most unfashionable part of Queens (the likes of which Lizzy and Brittany would run from screaming). Nvm that he lived seventy years of his life in America (1/2 American).
