You’re right, I should have known that! But it definitely had an effect on her performances thereafter 😔😔😔

She wasn’t well during the Blackout period so I’m also surprised she was ‘allowed’ to release it but it was excellent!
 
It’s so strange because pretty much everyone who worked on black out said how professional and normal/sweet she was whilst making the album. I do honestly think Britney had postnatal depression and a break down and all that mixed with dipolar not a good mix😔 but that does not mean she should be in this terrible heartbreaking situation. I will always root for Britney, she was my everything growing up. I love her. It may sound so stupid and I get it but I am a grown woman, I have a good job 2 beautiful girls, I own a beautiful home. I have it together, I’m just so passionate about this and I just know this is not right!!

This resonates with me too! I’m the wrong side of 30, have a stable job, a great relationship, our own home etc etc but Britney stands out from other pop stars - we grew up with her but she was never bratty, had a brilliant work record, and has undoubtedly been screwed over by the people that were meant to look after her 😢😢😢
 
💞💞 I’m so glad for this thread. She was well and truly done over 😔. It’s tragic but I have faith. It’s not going to happen anytime soon, I know that but it will happen. I hope to god she can just be truly happy and be free from anybody she does not want in her life.

And like everyone’s said better than I could, she’s a genuinely good person, you wouldn’t blame her if she’d become bitter but she never has a bad word to say about anyone. No one I know in real life if really interested in talking about Britney, its why I’m glad about this thread! Although when I explain the situation she’s in now to people, they’re genuinely shocked and gutted for her.

The mention of Mona Lisa reminded me, I wish Original Doll had been released, I would love so much to hear music with more of her creative control.

Yes everyone is so sad when I explain what she’s going through 😔. Your so right she is such a lovely person so sweet. Everyone you hear talk about her only say that she is the sweetest woman. It’s like they’ve taken a unicorn and sucked all the sparkle and magic 😔. She’s still got some sparkle there. Speaking of original doll there are some bad quality songs from it out there. Who knows how desperate her record label will be? Maybe they might release it one day or maybe even Britney will. Let’s all root for her for Wednesday sending the most positive vibes💞💞.

- Five years ago she says she wants the c-ship terminated ASAP as she is "sick of being taken advantage of" and making money for everyone around her
- She describes wanting to refurbish her kitchen cabinets and being refused because "too much money is being spent". The same documents outline that Britney who is worth $60million was given a weekly budget of $2k. $850,000 was spent on court bills.
- In 2019 she told the court she was forced to stay in rehab against her will as punishment after refusing to perform

Weeks later her Vegas residency was cancelled and Britney hasn't worked a single day since. It's been two years and eight months since Britney has performed or worked.

ALL of this makes me so sad.

Watching this 'performance' - come on....she was an incredible dancer! If this was anyone but Britney putting on a stadium show and dancing with this little energy, something would have been said. Imagine seeing this as an audition for any of the talent shows....would have been laughed off the stage. It's so clear she isn't well and is being forced to put on a show - it makes me so sad to see. I can't believe her 'people' have allowed this.

I truly wish her the best. Even if she never performs publicly again, may she be allowed to retire gracefully and enjoy her money and her kids and not be exploited any more ❤
 
Today’s the day....🙏🏻✨ I really do hope that because the whole world is watching it is going to make some kind of difference. She’s been fighting privately for a long time to get out of this but now literally everywhere and everyone is talking about it surely that’s got to change something for her?🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’ll be following freebritney on their Insta live later.

That's so sad :( and performing with a fever like that she must of been delirious!

What times it happening at in UK time?
 
I’m going to be so interested in what comes out about her current relationship, I think he’s hired to be her boyfriend / handler. The fact that she can’t have friends etc, I can’t imagine she’d ever be allowed to pick a boyfriend and also, him be ok with living in this horror show for so long.
