I think she was earning so much for other people it seems odd that this guy would just be let into becoming the closest person in her life when she's been cut off from everyone.

His presence if anything is helping keep the conservatorship as he outwardly looks like an optimistic, ambitious enabler. Saying things like wanting to have children with her soon while he's young only really feeds the narrative that she needs to be protected.

Is he actually helping her or is he feeding her the illusion of helping? I don't know. 😐

I totally agree. I’ve always thought her boyfriends had to be approved and might have even been chosen for her especially since she didn’t have a phone for a long time and is only allowed to speak to people her dad approves of.

However, Sam called her dad a dick and spoke out about him. When Sam spoke out I thought for sure he wouldn’t be allowed to see or speak to Britney again as her dad would want him out of the picture. Maybe that coincides with him stepping down as conservator of her personal life though and only retaining conservatorship of her finances so he wouldn’t be able to end Britneys relationship with Sam.

It’ll be months if not years for it to be untangled unfortunately. I’ve followed all the hearings since the movement started and it takes and incredibly long time to do anything. Just before they cut the audio feed yesterday, they were talking about scheduling another date to talk about what they talked about!

No one really knows where her mum stands. They seem to spend time together & Lynne defo wants Jamie removed (he was abusive during their marriage). But from what Britney said yesterday, it seems like there’s resentment towards the whole family. A lot of fans don’t trust lynne.

yeah I wouldn't if I was her, why would you if she didn't at least try and influence the whole situation? It is so awful for her, imagine being her age and wanting more children knowing this is still going to take years. I really cannot understand how this whole situation was allowed to happen

I can’t believe it’s going to take that long for the court to make a decision. Poor Britney, she’s done this for long enough,

I don’t trust her Mum or sister at all.
 
I'm curious about Jamie-Lynn, she was really still a child when all this kicked off, a teen mum, she had her own issues and couldn't be expected to be able to provide support for Britney. Now she seems settled with her own family, but it's a hard ask for her to get involved in this. We don't know the dynamics of J-L's relationships with other family, she may well be scared of her father too. I wish she would speak out, but we don't know her relationship with her parents, though she seems close to Lynn, so maybe she can't face cutting ties or going again her mum. She may also not have a close relationship with Britney, they live on different sides of the country and I bet their father doesn't want them being close and forming an alliance against him. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Jamie blocked Britney seeing more of J-L.
 
I’ve just listened to the audio and my god, I didn’t realise how horrendous it has actually been for her. How on earth has this been legal for so long?

This part of the transcript makes me feel like Britney isn’t happy with her mother and how her mother treats her (unless I’m reading it wrong). To be fair, if I was stuck in this hell for 13 years and not one family member tried to help me I’d resent them all.

‘It also took a year, during COVID, to get me any self-care methods. She said there were no services available. She’s lying, ma’am. My mom went to the spot twice in Louisiana during COVID. For a year, I didn’t have my nails done — no hairstyling and no massages, no acupuncture. Nothing for a year. I saw the maids in my home each week with their nails done different each time. She made me feel like my dad does. Very similar, her behavior and my dad, but just a different dynamic.’
 
Guys having read the full transcript when she mentioned Paris Hiltons’ abuse - did she mean if she was an outsider she wouldn’t have believed her…I didn’t pick up on the point she was making. Did anyone get what she was trying to illustrate here?

That’s what I got from it. It’s Paris Hilton, of course she’s not being abused or if she was and spoke out then nobody would believe her as she comes from a place of privilege. I think Britney is saying she thought nobody would believe her because of who she is.
